[Meister] MACRO shots w/ reverse lens

Hi meisterSG,

Can Nikon 50mm f1.8 prime lens does the same job? Any limitation to that? Just need to get the 52mm adaptor.

I think it will work just fine. 50mm lens and below is the ideal focal length in reverse macro technique. The shorter the focal length is the higher the magnification. However the shorter the lens is the shorter the focus distance as well. The housefly pic i posted was not cropped and i think i used 35 or 40mm there but i focused quite close to the subject.

Thanks meisterSG,

Really like your photo. Any tips to share? How many flash light do you used? Whats the configuration? What difusser you used? Very interested in the Macro but never try before cause no $$ to buy macro lens. :sweatsm:

Since you have a cheaper option, want to learn from you.
