This one is MK 1 and not MK II and no more selling in the market. But recently last month I saw one 2nd hand in Alex Photo in Pennisular selling at $180. Not sure still there or not.

Btw can the lens mount on 300D?

This one is MK 1 and not MK II and no more selling in the market. But recently last month I saw one 2nd hand in Alex Photo in Pennisular selling at $180. Not sure still there or not.

The lens can mount on to a 300D, No problem .... Just bring your 300D there to test lor .

IMO, 150 is a good price for both the seller and buyer if the condition of lens is good.

Hmm.....this is a very rare lens.....and will out perform the MKII version at every aspects. This lens also allow you to MF which you can't do on MKII version. I think I sold mine 3-4 years ago for AUD $250

Hehehe.... me not really a fan of Canon Orignal lens ..... :embrass: paiseh .... but heard a lot of good thing about MK I ..... .... Think Canon Downgrade it to MK II in order not to make it comparable to their 1.4 which is sold are very much more expensive price .... with similar result .

I used to have the MK I and it's better than the MK II.
you don't normally find ppl selling this lense and this might give u an indication of the lense quality.
I once saw TCW selling a 2nd hand one for $200+. so if u thinks that a brand new $135 MK II is the SAME. think again.

btw, i own the f/1.4 now and IMHO, there's difference between this and the MK II.
