MB D10 shutter very sensitive?

From my experience with my grip, the shutter is very sensitive, sometimes half pressing becomes a frame snapped..anyone feels the same way too?

The shutter is very sensitive on mine, may I know if there's any solution to this problem? Can NSC make it less sensitive? :dunno:

Thanks in advance for any advise.

I don't think its adjustable, cause its designed that way, as in the electrical contact is physically very close to the button surface, i don't think it can be programmed/adjusted.

Actually once you get used to it, its quite okay, but once awhile I still misfire, even when shooting horizontally, sometimes small finger stray too near also fire off...

If shoot vertically, just gotta train ur fingers like how you fire a rifle trigger...

Thanks for the reply... i was hoping it is adjustable as i'm having some serious problem controlling the shutter...

me and a friend is also having the same problem (2 units). I believe its the contacts problem.

For instance, you may jerk the camera and it fires off as well.

wah... never tried shaking before... i did tighten the grip very tightly though...

dunno if this is due to the contact, but a few times i noticed that half pressing doesn't focus lock onto subject... the focus shifted to new subject under the selected focus point after i recompose...

it's ok lah. still can half-press and then snap.

what's even funnier is... i'm so used to the sensitivity of the MB-D10 that i find the shutter release button on the body is a bit stiff... :bsmilie:

Personally I prefer the grip's sensitivity, but what is really annoying is that the camera and grip differ in the amount of pressure needed to trip the shutter. This is one inconsistency I find very glaring, and gets in the way of shooting.
