Thanks stk. I'll call Suntax up to enquire. Btw, do you have Zoomer's contact no.?

Zoomer, I am really disappointed with your lack of response. I've sent u PM but never once did you respond. Neither were my questions posted in this thread. Yet you have time to post in other discussion threads. I am trying hard not to flare up and be reasonable with you. So don't test my patience.

Jango, I must have missed your PM.

Anyway, as I told stk, I emailed them about this warrenty issues a few days after the first flash was collected but till now I have not recieved any reply.

Thanks for the info. U see, its better to keep us informed whatever the status is, then to simply ignore this thread until u feel u have good news.

I thought warranty would come automatically with the bulk purchase and been ironed out prior to any collection. It is going to be tough to do this only after transacting.

Zoomer, I do hope that you are actively pursuing the warranty issue with Suntax. Guess it has been a few months since u last made the enquiry.

While I was able to convince Suntax to repair my flash this time round, that doesn't mean that they will entertain me next time. Getting everyone the proper warranty card/info etc.. will also mean that we need not bother u should the flash breaks down.

I spoke to Anthony on Monday. According to him, this batch of flash does NOT come with any warranty. Reason being it was sold at a *special* price. :(

Nevertheless, he accepted my faulty unit. I'm suppose to check back with him on the repair 1 week later.

The impression that I gathered from Anthony is that the flash is very fragile, and it sounds like a "beta" product. In fact, Suntax no longer makes 9000TS due to some "bugs".

Zoomer, I hope you can pursue on the warranty issue with Suntax. It seems we have been sold a test product and it doesn't come with warranty.
