1. The charges are shown as below:
20% surcharge on books. However, if large orders are rec, discounts are possible (large orders for books are above USD25 but everything is flexible so just register your interest.)
All other items in Amazon.com (exclusive of books) will not have any surcharges
Note: The exchange rate is set at USD1 = SGD 1.80

2. A minimum of 15 orders or USD200 value of total orders is necessary for this mass order to proceed. It is to my discretion at any point of time to cancel this order. In that case, i will contact the affected persons personally.

3. All items from Amazon can be ordered.

4. Please send your orders to a2dalow@yahoo.co.uk. Please state the exact details and leave a contact number where i can contact you easily.

5.Before confirming the orders with amazon, i will send an email to confirm the orders with the persons. Once i have confirmed the orders, i will send an email to all persons who ordered. After the orders have been confirmed, no changes or cancellation are allowed.

6. After the charges have been confirmed, i will contact you via email to notify you of the amount of money to be transferred into my account.

I am helping Spenz to explain the situation.

It should be. As i know, VPOST charges a shipping charge(8.99) plus 6.99 per book.
This order is about 20% of the cost of the order. So if your book is around 25 usd then the shipping will cost 5.00 usd which is like 9.00SGD

Also, realise that anything can be ordered from amazon for this order.
If you use Vpost, you wont be able to import anything other than books, dvds, cds, vinyl. Electronic items and many other stuff are not allowed.
My friend in the States is helping him to ship instead. This will save costs as shipping is the USA for many orders are free.

So if you are looking for something that costs a bomb in SG or cannot be found then this order would be good.

then you must be wrong, vpost allows anything that can be ordered as I have even order from Ebay and shipped using Vpost, just fax them your invoice and they will charge accordingly. Can call up to verify if you aren't sure.

opps forget to add more, since yours is a sharing basis and needs self collection by meeting you at your venue stated, I might as well pays slightly more which I have tried and it's 15% of amount bought & $6+ handling, plus that Vpost can confirmed to me when my item will be delivered right till my doorstep w/o the hassle of meeting anybody. Therefore overall if chose your option I'll still have to pay for transport to & fro for my collection from you.

Thank you mongoose for your advice! ;)

However, are you referring to shipping using Vpost from Ebay?
Yeah, i agree Vpost ships anything.
However, note that this order is from amazon.com and if you read amazon.com shipping policies , then you will realise that it says that it doesnt ship anything other than books, dvds, cds etc. I understand that vpost supports Amazon.com too but it only ships items that are unable to ship to SG otherwise as the retailers are unable to support that.
As i know, the shipping restriction for amazon.com still holds for vpost.

i think that this option would be cheaper than Vpost. Its worth a try.

Does this help?

vpost ships anything ... as long as it is shipped to an US address first ... well 'ships anything' means 'anything legal' ... hahah ... drugs won't do! :D

Hi there.. Just some queries:
The 20% surcharge is for shipping?

And yeap, VPost ships anything.

Yeah, the 20% is to cover shipping!

Thanks, renegade!
