Is this a good price as compared to Singapore's AP or CP? Please advise, thanks ... If Singapore got better price then I will buy when I return.

kindred is organizing a MO for CF cards now... his prices are quite good.

also, there's really no need to put up multiple postings in all the different sections. most members will check Consumer Corner for MOs, so don't worry that the word won't get around. word of mouth is also very fast and strong here.

I'm very interested, in fact I might do it myself from over here if I was sure that I wouldn't get snagged by import duties on the way in. Let me do some checking, and if I can't get it over here then I am certainly interested although I have some logistical issues.

The Lexars are not any faster, possibly not any more reliable, but they do have a very good no quibble lifetime 1 for 1 warranty, as well as better backup support. Ultimately whether it's worth paying for that is anybody's guess, but I do for my work anyway.

kindred's MO does not include Lexars.

The Lexar WA's are value for money IMHO as they come with limited lifetime warranty & support, recovery software & a card reader included in the package (as seen in the 256MB WA that Nikon gave out as freebies in the recent promo)

Is it available at AP or CP?

I heard that Nikon Singapore could be bringing in the the Lexar WA CF for retail sale. Perhaps someone could check with them to verify & as to availability & pricing if this is so.
