Hey! I don't mind withdraw this MO if you are confident that Canon launch at this price, like what Holeinone had mentioned Japan launch at $2250 est.
So you mean Canon compulsory release this price similar to the 20D price now? So everyone can dump the 20D as same price as 30D.

No shops will want to keep stock of 20D and will want to clear it ASAP, unless there's a clear advantage in the 20D, e.g. firmware stable (maybe), which I don't see any. Another consideration you might want to note, though it's only a small difference, is the fluctuation of the Japanese Yen. To my knowledge, it's appreciating...(slowly lah). You should pre-warn buyers that the price might fluctuate a little than your quoted unless you're going to absorb the difference.
One 'good' thing (depending on individual), is that I believe that Canon gives 3-years local warranty for their cameras. You might want to check it out. Good, if you go Japan often. Then you can get free servicing...:bsmilie:

If you find that the price is not right, dun buy. james_pda isn't forcing the sale on you, is he? If you do want to comment on his price, try using pm instead of crashing his thread. Likewise, I dun think you will like it when someone crashes your thread, telling you that your price is ridiculous and driving away your potential buyers, right?
I've seen items on sale at B&S/Consumer Corner that I can get cheaper elsewhere. So what do I do? Get it from elsewhere lo ..... and if indeed I think the seller's price is a tad too high for a successful deal, I'll pm him the references where cheaper prices can be found. It's then up to him to decide how he wants to move on from there. But I'll never never :nono::nono: publicly crash his thread. It's simply impolite and insensitive.

Thus after few discussion with those getting the unit and my Japan friend, we try to make it slightly negotiable, if those still interested to get 30D by Sunday 9pm, please contact me at 98588810 asap. Limited unit.

Sorry! Klose, got to appologise for my reaction, mislook that you comment some negative things also, anyway this MO is off, only 3 to 4 guys still approach me for the unit. They still proceed with the ordering, as agreed these unit are still under warranty but duration one month which will be slightly longer. They will be getting earliest on Sunday.
PS: This is a MO, if interested then put name & deposit & not making a hoo-har to scar everyone away. Can PM me personally so that I can look into it. Anyway, as agreed by my pal, he did reduce slightly more to go through. So thanks! Thread closed, units on the way.
