Another question.. How much time does it take to copy 1 gb of data?

have tried using a Usb 1.1 card reader and it takes 15 mins in total

hope that new user can use a Usb 2.0 to try out the speed because Usb 2.0 is 40 times faster!

:D

It definitely can copy to PC's harddisk fast since its USB 2.0.
A good n reasonable portable flash memory backup. :)

One of the 2 heads serves as a power cable in case your pc can't power your OTG, this 2nd head which is also inserted into usb port will supply more power

80Gb and above will need a power adatper already

:)

Yes, Hdd is not included.

No specific Hdd size but up to 80Gb only .....any larger will need a adapter

:)

I've got 3 questions:

1) btw, does 80G Hdd actually need adapter or not?..
2) can use 7200rpm Hdd without adaptor on the OTG?
3) What is the duration of use on full battery (2300mAh).. in terms of Gigabyte of picture download from camera?

Thanks

1) yes, 80Gb needs a adapter (Pc mode)
2) no, any speed above 4200rpm is required to use adapter (Pc mode)
3) tried 2500mah, can last almost 2 hours

Forgot to say... I used a full 1Gb Ultra II CF card for my tests & using 2100Mah batteries

Aaa.... one problem here, where to find 4200rpm hdd nowadays ><

Sorry, Dude, can put me on reserve list again !? as i need to see if it's possible to get new 4200rpm hdd.

hmm ok let me get the confirmation from the dealer asap first

:)

1) using A5 w/ hitachi 40gb 5400rpm. no problem with just the provided cable for connection.

2) using the above mentioned w/ usb2 card reader and Lexar 1gb CF 80x - about 6.5minutes for full download. with the 4x AA adapter.

3) true usb2 device.

4) didnt try out the batteries stress test.

things to note:
1) can only use fat32 for the image drive. up to 32gb unless you know more about special formatting. very lazy to try special formatting that is found on WWW.

Remarks:
very good product at excellent pricing.

thnx Jialuvqr.

Ohz, that A5 can use 5400rpm hdd with no extra Power (pc mode) but the A3 require extra power (pc mode). Hmm, thnx for the information.

Hey jialuvqr

Thanks for the MO ... So far so good with the casing.

Ok my observation, only the longer cable works with as your power cord to the PC not the shorter one. If the shorter one is plug in the PC icon will keep blinking ....

I've tried using a USB 2.0 card reader with 4X 2300 Mah batteries, I notice that the 2300 Mah batteries do have the "strain" signs ... the battery meter do drop to the last bit while it is writing. aside to that its excellent.
