Hahaha good eyes there. I was so engrossed with #3 with the cloud etc. My fav too

I thought Espada is the word for sword in Spanish? or is it something else...

"The espada ropera was a sword developed in the mid-15th century in Spain. The name referred to swords worn by civilians, as opposed for those meant for battlefield use. Compared to earlier swords, the espada ropera was lighter, thinner, and more ornate. Its blade, though thin, could be used to make effective cuts. The name of this sword "ropera" (Spanish: espada ropera) means "sword of the robes". This is why it is considered to be a dress sword, mainly civilian clothing and not very often worn by warriors."

flesh and stone

A little Break from the Hdrs.

Titled as such as I felt a great reality contrast between flesh and stone. I tried to essentuate the hardness of the stone yet keep my model as soft as a delicate flower.

I'm not sure if I managed to bring that effect out but.. oh well I'm tired now.. Had a long day of bending metal and stuff.. graahh..

YAWNzz..

Pics 3 !!!!! BEST!!!! I love it. Good work.:thumbsup::thumbsup: for the model and photographer

i like the mask, can share where u bought it?

Thanks everyone else who said kind words.

The mask was bought in Venice. but is easily possible to make with materials from art friend I would say.

Ah, thank you. Learnt something new from you but I still don't understand how to connect the 1st two pics to this sword unless u meant her moves are like that of the ropera?

These Venetian masks are quite easily available here now, I've seen them in craft shops in KL & Singapore but doesn't beat the feeling of getting one in the water-city!

Anyway, I might need to ask u about technicals on taking those BMX riders in MRT.

this series is cool s.h.i.t dude! i enjoyed viewing it. :) keep it up jyjy

hello yeah those two pictures were meant to show dynamism and movement, but in a nonviolent manner. More like a dance. That's why the name of a dress sword was used - something that has movement, can potentially be dangerous, but at first glance seems full of graceful energy.

Hope that clears up the first part of your reply(: Cuz I don't know nuts abt taking BMXers at cityhall.

Wow. no.3 is like a fantasy storybook cover~
