I've been slack - not done my photos from this trip yet ... but .... if I am right, the approximate size of of the sea star is about 10cm, and that of the shrimp, about 1.5cm.

I dont think this is a coral .. looks like zoanthids to me - they are sometimes also called "colonial anemones".
