Thanks for the comments. Happy New Year to all.

Ah Seng: I guess I only post when there's fireworks...

Ransoma22: You gave me inspiration. ;-) Anyway, I have yet taken fireworks from there.
Improve? I think some of my firework pictures taken in 2005 were better.

This is one of my favourites.

Usually, my first picture of the fireworks is the better-exposed picture like this one. No photoshop. You could easily guess why. :)

Chinatown Mid Autumn Fireworks

:) . the 1st pix from this post. perhaps do a square crop ...brighten slightly...
keep shooting... :sweatsm:

The first picture in the 1st post is the best.

Nice foreground and the composition is very different from those we usually see (taken from Esplanade bridge or Benjamin Sheares Bridge).

A refreshing view.

I would shift my viewing angle of the fireworks to be a little more to the centre of the frame unless you do not have any more room on the left side of the frame. Looks like there are more building shots rather than fireworks. Still good exposure.

hey guys i am new to this forum. Would you be able to advise on the setting of all the great photos that was taken by you.Thank

Cheers:thumbsup:

Thank you all for your kind comments.

My settings are always ISO200, f16 & AWB on BULB.

I use D70 and a Tamron 18-200mm lens.
