well, talking about F1, if Sony have the right body system like another brand which have 10fps, maybe Sony can become Official brand for F1 and maybe all the official photographers too will be using Sony DSLR.
So that is why Sony is trying to win the market. So new body and maybe an advance one.

Like that oso I can forecast anything new on the market. Now, what makes you think so? Sony already reported not until Summer and you seem to know better? Trying to keep the thread alive or keeping information away from us?

actually a A700 with a pair of SSM lens is good enough to shoot F1
now recession leh. plus the price of a pns is easily within reach of the mass consumer as compared to a dslr thus making it more attractive

Shite rumour, Sony itself released a message that it will make announcements in the summer, April is considered spring. Why then all of a sudden jump the gun for a rumour from a service techie.
Strangely enough the sensor mentioned is the one being used for the A700 whereas technology is almost a lightyear advanced in the meantime having the new Exmor sensor.

talking about F1, u need really need fast lenses and fast bodies, at current i think alpha need to come out better ones.
however, like i said not every day is F1.
dun be suprised tat the new models will be more expensive.. u know their style of business :sweat:
