Can it be use on r2a? Tot of getting the black one

Yes. It's the same size as the shutter release of the Voigtlander Bessa series of RF cameras.

Cheers,

The one Mr Tay is selling is like this. For $20.

no. u see the curves on this wan is alot more sexy/shiny than Master Tay that wan. I remember Master Tay's not glossy wan

Is it possible to buy online and shipped via singpost japan ?

If you aren't able to buy it yourself and get them to send to SG, you can try Tenso's concierge service (They do shipping too at an additional charge). Would like to get one of these too.

+1 for Mr Tay's soft release.. my fav is the chrome coated brass convex release, like them so much I've got 4..:sweat:

I just bought Master Tay's soft release yesterday.

But, as you can see here, Master Tay's soft release shape is very different.

Group Buy! Group Buy! PM me if there is a group buy.

Bought a few for my friend last year but than i was still using a DSLR so didn't buy any for myself, they are indeed the best soft release i seen and feel so far with many colors and finish.

I remember they have red green gold as well and polish and matte finish.

Wow guys, is the MAP Camera soft release that good???

I was in Shinjuku drinking with a friend last Friday but didn't stop by MAP Camera. I'll have to check out their soft releases next time I'm there.

I prefer not having soft shutter release.

I feel they are more of a pain then pleasure

MapCamera soft releases are nice but they tend to unscrew and get lost. I have lost 3 or 4 of them already. All within a month and two of them within the same day!. I think I still have another 1 or 2 of them around.
Mr Tay's and Tom Abrahamsson's stay better. I haven't lost any yet.

Have not tried the Map soft release so no comments. Have tried other and Tom Abrahamsson's and found TA's to be excellent. I usually rest my finger tip on the camera top and trigger the shutter with the middle part of my index finger, just like you squeeze the trigger of the M-16. I can have 1/15 sec shots shake free.

Gommy, I've lost a TA soft release already so now I apply a thin layer of nail varnish so it stays tightly where it's supposed to be =)

As much as I like soft release. Does anyone encounter the problem when you are using soft release, the shutter gets tripped while it is inside your bag? It occurs to me so frequently that I would rather not use it now.

dun c0ck the shutter when u keep camera in bag.

wah i didn't know mapcamera softrelease can be loose.

I think I have developed the habit of c0cking the shutter every frame when I was using leica iii back then. I almost spoilt the shutter without c0cking.
