Yes that would be me actually.

Prices are lower than its last on-the-shelf price in SG, after conversion... somewhere close to 700 for the FM3A

The only reason why I would choose the Nikon... F-mount :)

Brands that were fully mechanical:
Cosina S1, C1
Nikon FM10
Practika (East German Brand - Very Solid in build)
Minolta SRT101
Olympus OM-1, OM2n
Yashica FX-3 Super 2000
Konica AutoReplex
Ricoh KR10, KR5, XR-1
Asahi Pentax LX, (K1000 - Basically a rebadged Cosina)
Canon FT -1
Chinon

These are some of the really old Mechanical Cams

(edited)

Praktica had many models, some are not manual.
You may be referring to the M42 screw mount MTL3.
It is definitely NOT solidly built.
OM2-N is definitely NOT manual.
Depends on which Konica Auto Reflex you are referring to.

The LX is NOT 100% manual. For slow speeds, it is battery controlled.
Manual speeds mechanically controlled from 1/2000 second to "X"
(1/75 second) and electronically controlled from 1/60 second to 4 seconds.
The mechanical speeds and "B" are operational without batteries.
On automatic mode, exposures are electronically controlled in stepless range from 1/2000 second all the way to 125 seconds. (that's more than 2 minutes)

Pentax K1000 is NOT a rebadged Cosina.
Cannot find Canon FT-1.
But there is Canon FT QL.

The Yashica FX3 Super 2000 is definitely a rebadged Cosina. I suspect the Nikon FM10 is one too. Also, the overpriced Contax S manual camera seems to be a cosmeticised rebadged Cosina too.

Depends on which Chinon model.

A few days ago, I went pass a shop beside Chinatown Point, just beside the POSB ATM machine, and saw a shop there that sells quite a number of vintage camera, the type where you have to manually forward the film. Is that what you are looking for? If you are, perhaps you can try the shop.

Thanks... Will make a trip there sometime this week. :)
