Looks good. Unfortunately the prices in SG for tripod seems to be higher than the US.. price diff is about $100 plus..

hmm yes.. but this items r not made in the US.. next is these guys dun ship 1piece to SG.. the sellers will combine a couple of items. so I'm wondering y it is more expensive here.. prob due to the large volumes there.

...and larger markups here? Once you go outside the mass market it can be expensive to buy in Singapore. Not so bad if the dealer support is good, but that's not always the case.

Prices are expensive in singapore is due to the tax. If you calculate the price and multiple 7% gst and shipping, its more expensive.

I bought the exact model recently on my trip to NYC in end Dec 2008. Made some savings when the exchange rate is S$1.43=US$1. US tax is 8%. I bought it at B&H superstore, which recommend by the New Yorkkers I met there. Happen to be near my hotel. Note the legs are not self-locking but if more than adequate for me. I bought one from eugenep for $380. but its not for self standing. I think there is another model for self standing and fast extension for the stand. This model is better for pan and tilt, easily replace a tripod for movement shoot. Eugenep is an excellent saleperson. Have good knowledge of the gear as well. Cheers
