Drogba made a stupid mistake in saying it to the media and making it public as he just signed a new deal. He did not realise that Roman is rich enough to banish him to the reserves and let him rot there. Other clubs will have no chance of signing him, at least till his 'protected' period of his contract expires.

He now released his dumb mistake and say he wanna stay at Chelsea. :bsmilie:

Mark Clattenberg is an ultimate cork-up today! A Graham Poll wannabe!

HOOT! HOOT! 3-1 UP!

Vidic returns for Kyiv trip

Sir Alex Ferguson has included Nemanja Vidic in his United squad that set off for Kyiv on Sunday, but there was no room for Louis Saha.

The Frenchman felt a problem with his knee during the warm-up before the Wigan match and he did not play against Aston Villa on Saturday.

Vidic sustained a facial injury against Wigan and he has only just returned to training. Despite including the Serbian defender in his squad, Sir Alex was still unsure on Saturday whether Vidic would be able to play.

"I'm hopeful he will be ready," he told reporters after the 4-1 win at Villa Park. "We will see how he is. He will be close but I'm not sure if he will be ready to play in Kyiv."

The Reds take on Dynamo Kyiv at Olympiyskiy Stadium, kick-off is 19:45 BST.

United's Reserves squad was also on the trip and they will play in a friendly against Dynamo Kyiv's second string.

United squad: Van der Sar, Kuszczak, Ferdinand, Brown, Vidic, EVra, Pique, Simpson, O'Shea, Ronaldo, Scholes, Giggs, Anderson, Nani, Fletcher, Eagles, Rooney, Tevez.

No Saha again!

He just blew it......and cemented Ronaldo is still the no.1 penalty taker for the current starting 11  To be fair, I tot he took it pretty well.....just that the goalie guess the correct way :p

Another pair of brother haaha.... heard that SAF goiin to bid for Ronaldhino again!

Maybe 1 day, we'll see the Tevez brothers at Man Utd. Then there are the Brazilian twins, Rafael and Fabio Silva who maybe joining us.

I hope not. Ronaldinho speaks Portugese and is a party animal and I dun want him to join Man Utd and be the 'party ringleader' and lead Ronaldo, Nani and Anderson to party their life away. He got problems at PSG and now, it seems he has a problem at Barca as well.

He is a great player and will be a useful addition to the squad but I think Man Utd will be better off without him.

If Man Utd wanna raid Barca, Messi will be the better buy!

i think ronaldhino has reached the peak of his career, he's gonna go down...

Papers: Concern for Saha

Troubled Saha is out again
The informed talk within Ukraine's football community this week is that Dynamo Kiev centre forward Sergei Rebrov will miss Tuesday night's visit of Manchester United through an injury that exists largely in his head. It is cruel talk about a man who has given his country so much but back in Manchester another troubled centre forward - United's Louis Saha - must be aware that he, too, must soon prove to a sceptical public that he has the mental fortitude to succeed at the highest level. Saha is again missing from Sir Alex Ferguson's squad - a knee injury causing his withdrawal on this occasion - and the pattern of the France international's behaviour is becoming depressingly familiar. Optimistic words from his manager follow each comeback. Each return is then promptly aborted.
Ian Ladyman, Daily Mail

Other United forwards in the newspapers are Carlos Tevez, quoted in The Sun on his habit of sticking out his tongue when shooting, and Fraizer Campbell who scored twice on his debut for loan club Hull City . "Fraizer jolly good fellow" is headline for The Sun's Hull 3-0 Barnsley match report. The Sun also carries news of an unusual birthday present for Wayne Rooney, a guitar signed and resprayed in the colours of Manchester City by Oasis star Noel Gallagher.

Round up by Adam Bostock

 Saha like made of paper lei....

U18s: United 7 West Brom 0

United's U18s produced their best performance of the season, smashing seven past West Bromwich Albion at Carrington on Saturday, four of them from in-form forward Danny Welbeck.

After a slow start to the campaign, the Reds’ U18s have made steady progress since, and this victory is reward for some promising performances in recent weeks.

Welbeck got the rout underway after just eight minutes, sliding in to divert Magnus Eikrem's pass goalwards from six yards. Ten minutes later, the same combination made it two as Welbeck ran onto the Norwegian's quickly taken free-kick to cheekily lob Alsop in the visiting goal.

The Manchester-born forward didn't have to wait long to claim his hat-trick. With just thirty minutes on the watch, Danny Drinkwater’s incisive through-ball put Welbeck in. The 16-year-old rounded Alsop and stroked the ball into the empty net.

United were solid at the back, creative in the middle and clinical up-front, and the Reds made it four moments before the break. Welbeck was central to the move again, flicking a pass through to Italian striker Federico Macheda, who calmly slotted the ball home.

And the Reds were not finished there. After the break, Welbeck picked up were he had left off in the first half, adding his fourth and United's fifth after 53 minutes. After a one-two with Macheda, Welbeck bamboozled the visiting defence before caressing the ball right-footed into the bottom corner.

Young winger Ajose also got in on the act with two more smart finishes as United finished the game in style.

The win is the Reds' sixth in the last eight games, which has clearly pleased coach Paul McGuinness, who told MUTV: "That’s the best we've played all season, it was a real team effort."

United: Woods; McCormack, Strickland, C.Evans, Derbyshire; Bryan, Eikrem, Drinkwater (Brown 51), Ajose; Welbeck (Brandao, 66), Macheda.
Sub not used: Amos.

Look out for highlights of this fantastic performance on MUTV and MUTV Online this week. Saturday's trip to Blackburn Rovers is live and exclusive on MUTV from 11am.

The youngster squad form also not consistence some time bad some too good to be true!:bsmilie:
