This weekend

Man Utd vs Blackburn
Aston Villa vs Chelsea (3rd vs 4th place)
Liverpool vs Man City (2nd vs 9th place)

Hope Villa and Chelsea draw, then Robinho on form help City win Liverpool.

I hope Man Citeh live up to their billing. In the previous match they led by 2 nil only to lose 3 - 2. Big kelong.

If Mark Hughes want to European places then he has to get at least a draw.

I think it will be better if they got full points!

Joorabchian: Owners considering Tevez interest

Carlos Tevez's future at Manchester United has been thrown into fresh doubt after the striker's representative Kia Joorabchian declared he is ''studying other options''.

The striker is not an automatic first-choice.

Tevez has been on loan at Old Trafford for nearly two years but with the deal expiring at the end of the season and United have failed to take up their option to sign the striker on a permanent basis.

"Carlos is in the market now that United have not made any move for him," Joorabchian told the Daily Star.

"We are now studying other options and interested parties. There is no option left with United any longer."

United missed the chance to seal a deal for Tevez in January, despite the Argentina international's repeated claims that he would be happy to stay in the Premier League and speculation has continued due to the fact he has only started 13 games this season.

Argentina boss Diego Maradona has urged Tevez to join Serie A leaders Inter Milan, who have been linked with a £30m bid (along with Real Madrid) in the summer, but Joorabchian's confirmation that the player's third-party owners are weighing up interest from other clubs suggests they will not be the only ones interested.

Tevez himself has said recently that he would have to wait until June to discover where he would be playing his football next season, claiming: "My mind is pointing me towards United and my plan is to stay here for several years more. I've already talked to the club and now we'll have to wait and see what happens in June.

"We talked but I've signed nothing yet. I want to stay. It would be difficult for me to quit one of the biggest clubs in the world."

Meanwhile, Corinthians have ruled out the possibility of signing Tevez.

The Argentina international had been the subject of rumours in South America suggesting he could return to the Sao Paulo club with his long-term future at United still unresolved.

However Corinthians football manager Mario Gobbi told Jovem Pam Tevez will not return to the club.

''He (Tevez) would like to play for Corinthians,'' said Gobbi. ''We have known this for a long time. Tevez identified with the club and is an idol for the fans.

''But it is only that, there is nothing else. We were surprised with the reports. Of course we would love to have him, but there is nothing in it at all.''

VDS not playing so got to wait for another match before record to be broken again!:sweatsm:

Record-breaking Edwin Van der Sar is rested so Tomasz Kuszczak gets a rare start in goal for the home side with the more familiar figure of Wayne Rooney making his first start up front for five weeks. Carlos Tevez drops to the bench!

Rooney!!!!!!!!!!

Damn! Santa Cruz equalize!
Miscommunication by Scholes and Nani,

Half time 1-1.
Evans denied his first goal for Man Utd. :nono:

Final Score
Man Utd 2-1 Blackburn

Ronaldo wonderful freekick won the match.
It's down to our neighbour City to beat Liverpool tomorrow.

I think Fergie made 2 mistakes in his selection. 1st, Scholes should not play cos he just played midweek. Old man needs longer time to recover to his best. 2nd, VDS should play, esp if he wanna try out Evans and Rio. This still stablise the defence more.

But who am i to critisise him? :bsmilie: Anyway, it was a great win. Blackburn fought real hard and Evans goal should stand.

The goal was partly Kuszczak fault too.
He should have stayed on his line and let Ferdinand deal with Santa Cruz.
VDS would not rush out.
Maybe I'm bias against Kuszczak, he concede whenever he plays.
I rather fergie plays Forster.

It was a hard fought victory. I must say that Ronaldo's free kick is something special :)

Yeah...to me Kusczak is not good enought for MU....He should be no.3 in the line up

Actually to be fair to him, Kusz hardly play so cant expect him to be top notch. He has had kept clean sheets b4 and I am sure with more matches under his belt he will be a very good goalie.

At least he is better than Rina :bsmilie:

Yes Forster is another good goalie so next time SAF will have a headache, a good one.
