Yeah, the moment we finish our last dive, we're already planning for next year's trip...it's so addictive...

Yup, its really amazing. Was there in mid Oct and love it there so much, if only Lembeh wasn't so cold, was freezing at every dive.

Bunaken wall diving was also fantastic. However, personally felt that after diving Lembeh, Bunaken wasn't that amazing. No wonder some ppl told us to dive Bunaken first then Lembeh.

Think I abit luckier...Lembeh wasn't that cold...around 25C. The coldest dive was at Bunaken...23C.

Had a good laugh at Lembeh...did our second dive at Nudi Falls...the nudis were literally falling from the top because of the current...1 landed on my fren's hand...

Hi all great divers here, i was planning for a trip to Manado this month end for "sightseeing?" ..... do you think it's worth the trip since Manado is well-known for the underwater sights and I don't dive at all. If yes, where are the places i must see, coz i m crazy abt photo-taking of the scenery and local people.
Thanks for any response.

Tasik Ria charging Euros next March onwards, while the absolute figures remain the same...going to be pretty ex. Wonder if the other resorts will follow suit.

Yup yup - go and stay in the hills - very cool, can hike around the volcano and visit the hot springs... all very scenic and nice. Only about 1 hr drive from manado town. Cheap & good apres-dive activities. :)

i am curious. if u go to the hills or mountainous regions after a dive trip. (high altitude places) does that cause anything? (with reference to the no-fly time) what's that? DCI?

Can't remember the details but the manado "hills" are quite low (not mountains) and if you've been doing shallow lembeh dives prior, shld be ok, no? ;p

Oh... can also see the "ikea" houses... they build 'knock-down' houses which you can buy and reassemble back home.

I got land photos of all these sights but dunno how to post. :dunno:

no shaking of fingers here allowed... i'm aware thus the questions.... right?!?!

hush hush hush... eh... although no OT to this thread, but we are doing photosharing, so lets not go tooo much in depth about dive theory here :)

(i jus continue a bit, theory is theory, my friend got the bends when she flew from Redang to Singapore, and she did not dive for 24 hours. she felt the pains 12 hours later.)
