Louis van Gaal wants Marouane Fellaini drop from the team [01].

Think he can go join back up David Moyes at the Turkish Galatasaray.

Looks like we are closing in on William Carvalho

Manchester United have been told they will have to pay the £37m buy-out clause for Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho.

Manchester United’s head physiotherapist Rob Swire has today called time on his 23-year career with the Reds, describing the post he’s decided to retire from as “fantastic” and “the top physio’s job in football.” His successor will be the assistant he appointed 15 years ago, Neil Hough.

Ok with end of this morning matches most of the lads are back except for RVP and Master Tactician Van Gaal... who last match seconds before the end of extra-time Krul was brought on by van Gaal to the surprise of many but it proved to be a masterstroke as the Newcastle stopper became the shoot-out hero.

Manchester United Readying £65m Bid in Signing Colombian Star James Rodriguez

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a massive £65m bid in signing rumoured Real Madrid target James Rodriguez from Monaco in the ongoing transfer window.

The Metro reports that the Red Devils are looking to convince the Ligue 1 outfit by tempting them to make a hefty profit on the playmaker they signed for £38.5million last year.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Real Madrid and his father Wilson James Rodriguez further fuelled speculations by stating that the Colombian international has dreamed about playing in Spain. The former FC Porto star too had earlier revealed that he prefers a move to the Santiago Bernabeu instead of Camp Nou.

He is the most talked about player at the World Cup in Brazil after his dazzling performances for Colombia. He scored six goals and grabbed two assists as Los Cafeteros bowed out in the quarterfinals against the hosts.

The report claims that United will offer £65m and are ready to include attractive incentives that can potentially help Monaco earn £90m in total. The three-time Portuguese Primeira Liga winner is believed to be keen on leaving the Stade Louis II due to lack of competitive opponents in the league.

Recent reports had suggested that the 20-time English champions had the opportunity to sign him for £5m in 2010. But former manager Sir Alex Ferguson opted to swoop for Bebe instead.

Monaco are said to have no financial concerns and will not be looking to offload one of their prized assets but might consider it if a significant amount is made available.

Meanwhile, the Ligue 1 outfit's president Vadim Vasilyev has ruled out the sale of any of their star players including Rodriguez's compatriot Radamel Falcao.

"Everyone was surprised at the large sum we spent last year [on Rodriguez] and now everyone is talking about him. That means that we were right. We strongly believe in this player, it is very important to us, he still has four years on his contract and we will do many great things together," Sky Sports quoted Vasilyev as saying.

Manchester United are closing in on launching a £40m bid for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal after the Italian club named their price, according to the Express.

The Old Trafford club agreed deals for Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw last month and are re-building the squad this summer in order to challenge for the Premier League title next season.

Incoming United manager Louis van Gaal is aware of Vidal's potential and the Dutchman rates him very highly. The Red Devils' league rivals Arsenal are also interested in signing the midfielder.

The Italian champions are unwilling to let their star player leave the Turin club unless the potential suitors meet their £40m asking price. United have already submitted a bid for Vidal as they look to bolster their midfield for the new campaign.

The report claims the Red Devils agreed a deal in bringing the Chilean international to Old Trafford in the summer transfer window. A move to United will see Vidal lose out on the Champions League football as the Premier League outfit failed to qualify for the European competition.

It is believed that Vidal is eyeing a new challenge and could leave Juventus for another club. A £40m bid from United would be hard for the Serie A giants to reject.

The same report also claims the Champions League winners Real Madrid were interested in securing a deal for Vidal. However, they have ended their pursuit as they are closing in on signing Bayern Munich star Toni Kroos, who was linked with a move to United.

With Real out of the race for Vidal, United are the front runners for capturing the midfielder. However, the Old Trafford club could face competition from Arsenal as Arsene Wenger is considering a bid for the Chilean midfielder.
