Indeed they (Arsenal) lost but we are still in 5th position.

What a win by Palace surprise by the 3-0 scoreline ... we should be able to climb further with wins over the top 4 ...

Home game against Chelsea will be a tester to see clearly where we are and what we can achieve, a lost and a draw will be a total setback. We can then think and concentrate fully on winning the Europa title. Right now, everyone in the team is hoping on hope that other top 5 clubs falter on the home stretch. BUT they know they cannot rely on this to happen. The ball and destiny must be in their own hands. So fingers must be pointed to everyone and not at Mourinho on results at this point in time. It will definitely be a great booster when we beat Chelsea. Just 1-0 will do. We can play better against good teams and take risks. 70-80 percent possession is of no use if we cannot score. Go MU GO GO GO....

Surprise line up which caught all off guard!

Man Utd 2 Chelsea 0

Goals by Rashford and Herrera

Great game. I believe everyone will agree that we have been waiting for the longest time for the team to play with lots of guts.

It matter not that we beat Chelsea today. 3pts is what matters.

Next game : 21 April 17
Man U vs Anderlecht.

The fixture couldn't be worse as the next league game is on Sun 23rd Apr against Burnley.

Match Report

Goals here!

Congrats to Mourinho..tactics spot on. Leaving Ibrahimovic (subsituted) and Mkhitaryan (did not play) in the starting line-up was a very big gamble. The line up was so effective that we control the game, pace, dribble, passing was near perfect. Chelsea players were left chasing the ball around Man U players. Well done. We showed what we can do and we are improving still. The substitutes were done at the right time Carrick for Lingard, Ibrahimovic for Rashford. By then, Chelsea players were flattened and demoralized for nothing to show, not even a decent shot at goal. Keep it up, if we play with such precision and tensity, we can beat anyone and all our remaining EPL games to secure top 4 for UCL next season. Good job Man U.

Report

Nice timely goal by Rashford!

Victory came at a price, though, with in-form centre-back Rojo leaving the action on a stretcher before half-time and this season’s top scorer Ibrahimovic falling heavily on his knee just as the game was about to enter 30 minutes of extra time.

Yet another club present Man Utd to go 4th for the last 6 games after 'Pool falter. Man Utd to win all 6 games to guarantee that. With the likes of City, Arsenal and Spurs among those fixtures, Man Utd need to dig deeper.

Tough games ahead but if Man United do well, they can finish 4th this season.
Indeed a surprise win for Palace and it was an away match for them.

Irony is our last game is against Palace.

The local derby ended up in a draw. The silverlining is mathematically we should be 4th if win next match.

We should beat Swansea hands down and 3 points in the bag, putting pressure on the top 4. We win all our remaining EPL games, we are in UCL next season, simple as that. Mourinho knows it and every MU players know it too. With our depleted team, we can still drive on MU legacy of players playing all our hearts out , determination and perseverance characters to win our games. MU one for all and all for one MU go go go. After tonight game, we can then think about Celta Vigo next.
