Man Utd XIV : New Manager New ERA

Most of us may agree that DM needs more time for re-building but I feel that in this era of football in 2014, it will be dreadful to wait another 5 years to see Champions League football for MU, not even 2 years, its too much to bear. Stop comparing those years of SAF era where the clubs players are made up of different sets of players. I just cannot accept the statement that SAF previously took so many years and so DM must also be given that number of years to proof himself. If MU board think like that, we are finished beyond redemption. We must be back into Champions League in the following year from now, anything more, DM should be fired immediately then.

Thats y i said give him another season to prove it, if he cant bring us back to UCL then fire him
Nowadays is different era compare with SAF 80/90s era already

You are very right.

Tomorrow will be the first time DM travelling back to Goodison Park will he give them face?

26 Apr Norwich City H
03 May Sunderland H
06 May Hull City H
11 May Southampton A

With 5 games left how high can we climb?:sweat:

This season more or less will be the pools ... although would like to deny it ... but we donated 6pts to them ... and its still better then city winning it!

I think you should be more concerned if Everton will give face. they're a team that thrashed Arsenal quite convincingly

I think for old times sake, Moyes may be inclined to help Everton qualify for Champions League although they probably don't need him to "put water."

Moyes already helping so many teams just by being himself, without any desire to buang air...
any Everton victory will probably have both winners and losers deserving it

Look at the situation this way, Everton needs the points more than we do to qualify for Champions League. With or without DM help, Everton is going all out to win it. We just hope we don't lose by a big margin. To us, our season is practically over, the remaining games is for DM to confirm his squad for next season assault on the Europa games. We would like definitely to play some Euro football though Europa is considered to be second to Champions League. Lets see what's DM line-up. Once we see it is a defensive one, then we are not going to score, only on counter-attack. I think DM should play a attacking strategy to try to score goals early. He needs to be more aggressive which I felt is lacking all season in his style. A win will be a bonus, a loss will not be face saving for DM.

Here goes the team to start:

De Gea, Jones, Smalling, Evans, Büttner, Carrick, Fletcher, Nani, Kagawa, Mata, Rooney.

HT 0-2 down
What can we expect ?

Expected, no surprises... the verdict of who is the better manager is out.

We are outplayed in all areas. Look at how fast Everton attack with support each time from at least 3 of their players running. Counter-attack from them is even more obvious. We are just too slow and give away possession too easily. If this is our best team after welbeck, hernendice, mata, Rooney, kagawa, fletcher all played together, we really needs a revamp of our strategy. It's not working at all with DM formation. Mind you Everton is not even the top 4 right now. How sad we deteriorate within just 1 season under DM. See for yourselves whether DM should continue with your support.

wasn't this almost the same team Moyes left behind?

11 defeats this season, I think it's a new record. Anyone keeping tabs on the number of (negative) records David has broken? Or there are just too many to keep track? Haha....

14 records and counting. KNN Moyes.
Instead of Champions League maybe Moyes will bring MU to the Championship League.
