Let's see how MU players fair for England mid-week international friendly. Most likely Chris Smalling, Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Wayne Rooney and Daniel Welbeck will play. Hope they can set aside club misfortunes and raise their self moral and confidence. But hope that no injuries, I guess not with the World Cup in 4 months time, both Danish and England players may not want to risk having any injuries, just like the rest of the stars players in World Cup qualified countries IMO.

Kagawa nets penalty for Japan

Shinji Kagawa scored one of the goals and set up another in Japan's 4-2 defeat of New Zealand in Tokyo on Wednesday.

The United schemer clipped a superb lofted through ball to Shinji Okazaki after only four minutes allowing the striker to cheekily hook the ball home. Kagawa doubled the lead soon afterwards by rolling a penalty just out of the reach of Kiwi keeper Glen Moss.

Masato Morishige and Okazaki made it 4-0 with only 17 minutes gone but Chris Wood, who played against United at Under-21 level for Leicester City recently, restored some respectability to the scoreline with a brace.

Kagawa came off after 79 minutes with Manabu Saito taking his place and he will hope to return from the long trip to be considered for Saturday's early kick-off away to West Brom.

Van Persie a doubt for Dutch

Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal has revealed Robin van Persie is a major doubt for Wednesday's friendly with France after falling ill.

The United striker was consigned to his sick bed and missed training on Tuesday ahead of the Stade de France encounter, with Holland unlikely to take any risks with their captain if he is not fully fit.

Although Michel Vorm and Rafael van der Vaart are also unwell, van Gaal insisted his doctor has confirmed it is not due to a flu bug because the players have different symptoms. Arjen Robben has trained but is carrying a knock and is another who might not start.

"Van Persie and Robben will play anyway at the World Cup," stated van Gaal. "Now I could test other players." However, both stars have not been definitely ruled out with a decision being taken closer to kick-off.

England just scrape a late goal for a win over Denmark. Nothing convincing at all. England should face lots of problems in the World Cup. By the look of things, it should have difficulty going to knock out stage. Even so, if it manages to go to next stage, it will be eliminated. Where is the sparkles in England Team, Sturridge will not succeed as well as he did in EPL. Rooney, sad, does not seems to be in form when playing for England. Too distracted by how good he felt in MU only. When you play in World Cup, country level, its a different ball game. So Roy Hudgson is in deep deep trouble with this current England players he has chosen, if he aspire to reach even the Semi-final, a very tall order. There is no need for penalties, England may just loose outright more often during normal 90 mins time IMO.

As tradition has it the English Team will have problem getting past the quarters so don't have too much of hope of them doing well in World Cup!

Die die must beat Liverpool. We certainly can do it. DM cannot adopt a defensive strategy in this game. We need 3 points. Let's rally behind DM and hope he makes the right combination of players. Liverpool will surely attack all the way from the first minute. We need strong commitment from all of our players, especially goalkeeper. Hope he is in excellent form. Good luck too, we need it.
