But SAF chose Moyes be the successors , nice choice ?

Saf is smart to choose a cmi manager to make himself looks power ahha

Out of so many managers in EPL with better quality....I think the board choose DM because he is a Scott...after 1/3 of the season....MU is only fighting for Europa cup....that's the first in the last 3 decades...wtf....

It's ok, the players will be fit and injury free for World Cup, since they don't need to play so hard
Once they know they can't win the league title

Shinji Kagawa absent due to overeating, what nonsense is this?

Eating Shasimi or Steak? Knn...these the pro athletics that paid many thousand pounds per week and yet they have no common sense than my 4 years old kid...

Overeating , virus seems common happens on football athletics...
So easy meh ??

They cannot find any more excuses except of DM admitting that he is not up to mark. This season has already passed one-third and we are lying 9th, 13 points behind league leader. Whatever DM has to be said, has been done with no effect. So very sad, Old Traford is no longer a fortress feared by other mid and even lower clubs. To rejuvanate our hopes, we must first win the next league game, boost confidence and go on to get all points in all Dec games. At the same time, top six leading clubs loosing their games. Then we can approach 2014 with the kind of fight back MU spirit we always have.

Sometimes I wonder - for football club not performing to expectations, is it the players or the manager? Which is the more dominant factor?

It's probably a lot of factors thrown into the mix, but my take is the primary blame is the players, followed by the tactics of the manager.

No matter how good the player is, they are like a headless chickennon the field if without insttucyion from manager unless you are Maradona or Pele that kind of Beast.
Now Manchester United is guide by okok manager DM , this teamnwas last season Champion and manage to get position 9 now ? Very clear we can see where is the problem

I agree. Imo, its 60/40 on manager and players. A team with great players can only achieve so much if the manager is not up to standard. Likewise a great manager cant win trophies consistently without a great team of players. I put the manager slightly more important than players just like a CEO is critical in leading a company.

The manager can come up with world class tactics, but it is the players who execute them.

In Man U's case, we do not have world class players so a lot depends on the manager. When the players remain the same and in comes a mid table general (which the opponents already know him inside out after 10 yrs in BPL), i dun think we can pull off a miracle here. There is no agressiveness from him. There are no mind games. The morale in the dressing room is probably at an all time low too. And his name? Highly doubt tat he will be able to bring in any world class players. Will u join a dying company if u are looking for a job?

Psychologically, we are at the losing end. Opponents no longer fear us. They are not afraid of stepping into old trafford. They are not playing as defensively like they use to. The more they attack us, the more loopholes they find in our defence.

The brand "Manchester United" is no more. I hope DM can face reality and resign from the club end of the season.

Lets see how far we go in Champions League

Home game Later 3:45:00 am vs Shakhtar Donets

A narrow victory at Old Trafford.

Villa is next.

Another score from set piece, seems like Manutd unable to score on open play now

Cannot be the old everton ... must get back to our usual scoring ways and also score from set pieces! If not it will be difficult to get pass the next round of CL...

Lets be a little optimistic and face Villa away with some confidence in our players. I agree we need to score goals against opponents, be it from open or set pieces, it does not matter because a win is mandatory for us now. A clean sheet (not conceding any goals) will definitely bring back some smiles on the back line defenders. Fingers crossed and hope the tactics are spot on by DM.

VILLA V MAN UTD
15 December, 2013 9:30:00 pm

Sunday game!Nothing less then 3pts!

I thought they turned the corner in November..... but seems like I was wrong... rumours of internal unhappiness is a very bad news if that is true....

Have not seen any recent matches, so I cannot comment on the play or players.... only read from reports...

I was analyzing the situation from Nov to Dec... they were steady.. win against Arsenal... did well in Europe and against a German team.... what could have caused them to drop all of a sudden??? Internal crisis does seems to be a possibility... reports I read said players lack the motivation... and this happens when internal conflict start... they lost consecutive home games..... and Rooney is not playing... does sounds like a bad time for MU...

MU keep focusing on Set Play... and this is not a Everton team... Team of Man U caliber should aim to kill and stop the opponents in open play.... mmmmm......... dunno what is happening but feel RvP is not in top form.... or maybe lack the motivation... am worried if they continue to fare badly.... Cross finger........
