I will be very happy if we can take home 3 points later playing away at Shakhtar. We need RVP and Rooney to be in scoring mode. Just make sure our defence must stand firm and solid. Avoid a defeat at all cost, Moyes should know it.

Only a draw.... :-(

Tough away match... not only we can't build on that early Welbeck goal ... but can't hang on to it either...

We won 2-1 at Sunderland. I felt that against a team like Sunderland in disarray without a real manager, we should have done better, far much better with our first Team players. We should take advantage of the situation and score and boost confidence. Yet, we still concede a goal again and did not keep a clean sheet. Ya, a win is a win. We hope for the best going forward.

After international break ... we like struggling...

MANCHESTER UNITED 1
VAN PERSIE (26)

SOUTHAMPTON 1
LALLANA (89)

Looks like we have forgotten to play till final whistle huh? ...

I am very surprised and frustrated. Why did they not hold out for the win, just a couple of minutes more, Sigh........... knowing that the defense is so vulnerable this season, put more in defense, change the strategy in mid game is important and needed. But it was not done. Ya we give away free kick and let in the equalizer. Another 2 points goes to dust. Sigh..............

im sad too tat Man u is losing
But im also happy tat moyes is 1 step more towards the exit door
I never had a good feeling when DM joined man u

I think Moyes will survive this season, at least (even if he wins nothing)..... The board will back him, and so will Fergie, but if he does not deliver the goods next season, he's off!

Well im hoping the board is not as patient as u say!

Just wanna hear ur opinions... What do u guys think of our squad?

The forward are ok, the midfield sucks, and the defends sucks big time.....In any great team, you need to have a world class player, I mean a player like Ronaldo and Messi calibre who can change a game single handly....or top 10 in the world at least that makes people fear when you are on the ball....RVP is close but he is 30+ now.....Goony is not....and not even close imo....that's as far as I can remember for the squad....no one afraid of MU now....not even team like Southampton or Sunderland.....everybody in Champions League want to draw against MU because it is a sure eat durian....

only Rooney can make it, maybe Carrick as he seldom make a mistake, the rest was just middle class.

But they use to have the killer instinct never say die till last minute attitude, but now it is gone.

I agree with u!!
The "greats" after cantona are ppl like yorke, RVN, giggs, ronaldo and rooney, but they are just not world class enough

Sir Alex: United accept challenges

Sir Alex Ferguson marked the publication of his latest autobiography with a press conference in London, where he addressed a number of the issues covered in the book, My Autobiography.

Having denied a recent approach to manage the Australian national team at the forthcoming World Cup - "once I finished with United, that was me finished with management" - he discussed the two approaches The FA made to offer him the England job in the past.

"It was my great opportunity in life to relegate them," he joked, adding: "It didn't take me long to turn them down - about 10 seconds. Never in a million years could I manage England. Can you imagine me going back to Scotland?"

Sir Alex's relationship with high-profile players David Beckham, Roy Keane and Wayne Rooney featured high on the agenda, as did his views on issues concerning football today, including the World Cup in Qatar, racism in the game and German football's rise. He also spoke about the challenges United have faced in recent years - "Manchester United have always accepted challenges - challenge is not a problem for Manchester United", and was asked whether he considered a clean break from the club after retiring.

"When you are part of our club, it's very difficult to leave it. The club offered me the opportunity to be a director and ambassador, which I thought was perfect. You have to remain active when you retire, and I've taken on quite a few challenges over the last few months. But how can you make a clean break from a club like Manchester United? I don't think it was ever in my thoughts."

Finally, he offered words of support for the current boss. "When I joined United I got great encouragement from Matt Busby and I hope to help David Moyes in the same way. He's got a great support system. They've had a really difficult start to the season but do you know something? Manchester United are the only club in that league that can win the league from coming from behind, believe me. Once they get the ball rolling they'll be fine."

Sir Alex supports DM!

Let's hope our next CL performance in Spain will have some changes!

I believe enough without world class players, a team can still aspire to be the best if they can build on each other team members' strengths and weaknesses. We are just lacking a lot of confidence, not only in front of goal but the weakest link, the defense is in shambles. Every game, that defense is so vulnerable. Gone are the days where a solid defense means mid-felders can move forward to add to supporting the strikers. Now its just sad that killer instinct is gone and it only comes far and between from only selected few. No one wants to be made or seen to be the scapegoat for missing good chances by striking the target. Wait and let the others do the job, I just pass it to the strikers. And yet stringing a few good passes are hardly seen. The strategy of bringing Everton players into MU is back-firing as others bred from MU youth team will never have a chance to prove themselves or even allow to play. Where is the hunger? David Moyes is not adjusting fast enough. We will only see further widening of points as far as I can see at the moment. Everything Moyes tried in squad rotation, formation changes and holding game plans are not working well. So where does it leave us MU die hard fans? Hope and wait for January window to source for creditable players and close the defense gaps? I hope its just not too late by then. Moyes will continue as manager in the first two seasons even if we did not win anything. Pure backing from the Board is very obvious. Moyes job is safe.

When you bring in a mid table manager, and he brings in his mid table staff along with him, then the entire team will get infused with mid table DNA. The end result is surely mid table mediocrity. I am desperately hoping Moyes will prove me wrong come May next year, but at the back of my mind I fear United will struggle to make the automatic CL berths.

I find that Moyes lack tactical acumen... and he is playing like he think he is still in "Everton"........ even Everton is playing better than under Moyes, and Everton "forward Kevin Mirallas has admitted that he finds it easier working under current manager Roberto Martinez to previous boss David Moyes". And Everton is above Man U...

Dunno why DM did not pit Kagawa or Zaha in yet... as I think sometimes... when players play more... they can improve and play better with forms....

I just think DM should have inherit MU Asst Manager & coaches..... instead of bringing in his own men......

When Man U vs Southampton... I thought they played well in the first half... but they just drop off in the second half... with luck, Man U would have been ahead by 2-3 goals.... I thought I saw the old Man U in the first half... but hope they get running into form soon....

But I think DM need to use all the players he have... and noticed a lot of injuries happened in training... over trained???? Too intensive??? mmm....

I think if he kept Man U coaches, the transition would have been better.
