i must admire his confidence though....he thinks we can overhaul both the manchester teams for the title :)

He so brave to go chelsea ... Chelsea even much more brave to have him lol... ok we shall see how he going to over come both Manchester team... remind him that BPL is not abt the 2 Manchester teams ...dun like someone else only stay in the BPL to play us only..lol.. ;P

And finally we are taking the lead first now is to keep clean sheet...which we almost did last night!

Almost meant did not again... sadly.. . Should hv killed the game earlier, and keep the back tight.

I think the deal and money was worth the risk... so he took it. I think it was pretty cruel to RDM......

Champions League round of 16: Manchester United will face Real Madrid! Real Madrid v Manchester United - Wednesday 13 February

Manchester United v Real Madrid - Tuesday 5 March

Real test for United

Manchester United will face Real Madrid in a mouthwatering tie in the Champions League round of 16, a clash Sir Alex Ferguson has labelled "the tie of the round".

Former Real midfielder Steve McManaman pulled out the Reds in the draw to face Jose Mourinho's current Spanish champions. Of course, the second leg at Old Trafford will see Cristiano Ronaldo return to play again at the Theatre of Dreams for the first time since leaving for the Bernabeu, and Sir Alex can't wait for the tie.

"Well, it's the tie of the round," the manager told ManUtd.com. "It's a great opportunity for our fans to see Cristiano again and also for me to meet up with Jose again - I'll need to order some good wine!"

Group H winners United have met the Madrid giants eight times and only won twice, which shows the size of the task in hand, particularly as the most recent of those victories – in 2003 – was still in defeat over the two legs.

Last 16 draw: Galatasaray v Schalke, Celtic v Juventus, Arsenal v Bayern Munich, Shakhtar Donetsk v Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan v Barcelona, Valencia v PSG, Porto v Malaga.

A tough match up..... real look to hv the edge.....

Its going to be a cracker game. Do or die situation. We are confident and have the edge over RM. Looking forward to it.

The best thing is the return leg is at OT....so if MU can get some away goal it will be job half done....some may argue there are team who get away at OT but I will rather they carry the results to Bernabau because u know how fanatic those bull fighters can be :)

Swansea City 1
Michu (29)
Man United 1
Evra (16)

First Draw of the season lead cut to 4pts! Not a good sign! A game we should have won!

Ya, it's a game that we should have won, 65% possession. I watched the game, I do't know why, but the strikers like no confidence.. doesn't want to take shots from outside the box. Pass, pass, pass and in the end, lose the ball... :(

Hit the goal once but the post twice....that sums up the game....but do not discredit Swansea....they worked very hard to earn that point....every players throw themselves in to deny any good shot so MU only got themselves to blame for not able to nail the game..

Man Utd 4 Newcastle 3.
What a come back win!!!
Can someone buy Evans? 2goals in 5mins but at different end!
7 pts clear on top after mc buang at Sunderland! Hahahaha....;P

It was a tight game.... and it could have gone either way when it was at 3 - 3......

A moment of magic from Carrick, and a clinical finish from Green Peas.... he should have converted a few chance earlier... but now, Man U do have quite a few walking wounded....

I was very surprised at Man C result at Sunderland..... damn happy!!! lol........ Adam Johnson came to haunt them... lucky Obertan only give an assist, and limited damage..

your games are never short of excitement these days..... :)

sometime tis excitement is too much till 'no eye see' ... from very 1st goal to last min goal....
somemore opponent hit post 2 times... lucky the 2nd one the ball bounced out and hit the keeper then stop due to wet field, else no chance to win the game...
ManU got the habit to conced goal then start to score.... wat will happen when play against RM in the CL? Ronaldo and his co will score lot of away goals....
just feel that current defenders are either too old (ferdinand, run soooo slow) or panic ( smalling and jones, easily over commit and lost track of opponents)...
SAR hv to seriously look into new signing of defenders during jan transfer window...if he wants to win CL, especially with away-goal counts...

Yours guys are better can plunder in 8goals all by yourselves...without conceding also!

Funny thing I noticed all these bottom club seems to find a formula against MU.....for most part of the game.....Newcastle are faster and more aggressive....prob due to their no Xmas celebration policy this year......especially Ba. ..he was a handful and always one step ahead of mu central defender.....I am sorry for Newcastle....he will definable be robbed by bigger club next mth...

On the other hand....mu players are slow and heavy after too much turkey I guess....passing also horrible......and De Gea again palm the ball into opponent......Fergie should consider changing him this Jan....he is not MU std imo.....Bergovic or even Tim Krul is better.......if not of the magic moment by few key players.....MU would again succumbs to embarrassment......good entertaining game nevertheless. .

we'll see how long that lasts.....it will be hard for us to plunder goals at goodison park this weekend.
WBA should be easier proposition for you at old trafford :)

WBA is on a good run.... but if the walking wounded list increases, it is not going to be easy.

It was a gutsy performance. We were kept at the edge of our seats. Interestingly we got the win and mighty happy about it. Give credit to all our players who did not give up and perserved we did till the end. Bravo!!!

If SAF did not get heart attack... lots of Man U fans might get it first! lol....
