Making the jump to Canon Full frame

Thanks guys for all ur valuable inputs. I am basically a canon fan so my mind doesnt wanna venture out of thr canon circle. And for wanting a Fullframe, basically it alls abt my "wants" rather than "needs". I want to enjoy the fruits of better image quality, high ISO performance and more options for landscape photography which i read the fullframe having an upperhand compared to cropped.
After much consideration and valid opinions received, my heart says just go for the 6d. :)

how low light is low light to you? And what is your acceptance level in term of noise level?

from my personal experience, i shot a wedding event using a 5D3 as my second camera, my flash was on my other cam. with this 5D3, i set ISO to 6400 and shot with f2.8. the noise is amazingly manageable in post production. with a bit of noise reduction, it became clean with minimal details loss.

on another event, i was shooting using 24-105 f4L in low light, no flash, ISO 8000 was decent, and I tried my luck with 12,800. With minimal noise reduction and detail loss, the noise is there, but image is usable.

so personally, i would say, yes, you can shoot in low light with no flash using 5D3.

I thought flash is use to fill in shadow rather than to shoot in low light .

Flash can be used for scenery shots. I saw many people doing that at marina bay.

Really jealous of their nuclear flash unit.

yup what ageha says its true. these days dun need tripod. all hand held

Not for kids running around. I would rather recommend the Nikon 1 or a Sony SLT for that.

2 systems I will never touch with 10 feet pole
