Just bought 8AAs of Eneloops for my SB600.

I'm now looking for a solid recharger for these batteries, but would like the charger to be universal too, meaning can charge any brand.

The Charge Current for C204W is 2000mA (AA), 700mA (AAA). Does that mean if i buy a 2700mah battery next time, i cannot charge with this recharger? :dunno:

There's a great review for the C204W on the net too, for eg. http://www.imaging-resource.com/ACCS/C204W/C204WA.HTM

I assume that the WizardOne allows customization of recharging speed by controlling the power output and takes in any battery capacity.

The WizardOne cost SGD99 while the C204W cost SGD49 on EastGear website.
Is the WizardOne worth the extra 50bucks? :(

Please advise.

No what it means is that if you are charging a 2000mAh battery it will take 1hr
2700mAh will take longer.

To be frank the wizardone is for techies who like to do testing(analyze) on batteries.
I have the La Crosse BC-900 Charger which was the most advance before the WizardOne came out.
To me it has too many function that I don't use.(In the cupboard, hardly take out to use)

The Maha MH-C204W don't have 4 independent charging circuits (have to charge 2 or 4 of the same type of batteries at one go;cannot charge batteries of different capacity and type at the same time.)

If money and space is not a problem I suggest you get the Maha Powerex MH-C801D Eight Cell 1-Hr Charger.

You may want to consider the MH-C401FS.

Money is always a problem! :bsmilie:

I will seriously consider the MH-C401FS charger, it looks to have the right features for me at an affordable price of S$49. But the brick adapter is a bit :thumbsd:

Thanks mega32 for your feedback. :)

I read from somewhere that Eastgear is offering discount for MAHA charger until February. You may want to check it out at the store personally. Cheers! :)
