MagSnap - Photography equipment?

Any regulars to Magnificant Snap, that place at MS?

I've never been there before, so was wondering if MagSnap is a good place to get photography equipment like camera bag, filter holders, cleaning kits, etc. Thanks in advance :lovegrin:

PLEASE DONT GET IT FROM THERE! the other day when i was there to try out an EOS camera, ok they let me touch it but when i asked to try it with battery.....they ask me if i would want to buy, if i want to buy then they'll put in the battery if not cannot try ;( . What kind of customer service is this? Even Best Denki let you try with battery and some will tell you what this or that camera can do, but this shop.......they don't so please don't go there to buy they are really s**k up man. Now i'm a happy buyer to get my EOS from Cathay Photo. Hope all this helps.

erm.. top of the list is a filter storage case, a cleaning kit, lens cover (i read somewhere I'm supposed to have these at hand.... but erm..... do I? lol)... more Sanyo recharagable batts, 4-batt casing....

i also wanna check out prices for a camera bag and the following eqp:

Lens: Wide Angle, Telephoto (trying to find cheaper alternatives to the Canon orignials)

Filters: Sky, Colour Grad ND (by Tiffen), Polarizer, Northstar, Netural Density...

MS Color have a cheaper price then Cathay Photo) Why not call them up first to check out the price between MS and Cathay first.

definitely CP. might also want to try TCW across the road. their stuff are grey products and they also have 2nd hand stuff like lens.

Wah :bigeyes: , actually i would like to advice u to get your accessories one thing at a time there's no need to rush for things, if cash is an issue. Well then also if the near future if let say you are sick n tired of this A80 which did not give the work that you want you might in the end get DSLR or film SLR, so what im trying to say in just take your hobby one step at a time and spent wisely. Hope i'm not too long winded :sweat:

annnnnnnnnyway.... later i'm just going to get the very basics.... mainly the filter storage case VERY IMPT.. the batts VERY IMPT.... the cleaning kit QUITE IMPT?.... the other various lens I'm going to see how much it is before I decide...

moreover I would want to buy 2nd hand so I guess I"ll be checking out TCW first... if someone cld kindly please tell me whats that! LOL? Name of shop? Building? thanks....

as for buying a new camera.... it wouldn't happen for another three, four years... that's why this time I'm investing quite a bit of money.... and it's not really an issue... the money is mine (my own, my preccciiioooooussss) but my parents want me to put aside a little bit of money every month, to learn to save more and to teach me that nothing comes for free even if they can afford it... oh well.....
