agreed the size of the logi board is very minimized. but heat is an issue with small size, especially the components that are used in the mbp. the processor, graphics card (especially this) and all. also, apple or rather most manufacturers approach to go 16:9 for screens, perhaps, a 13.3" mbp similar to the mb would be a more logical approach
I really would prefer a 12" MBP that runs at 1152 x 720 res.

Actually the MBP is not that hot, I still use it as per normal in replace of my desktop, good

The 12" MBP would be a wish come true for me. I value portability, and that's the main reason for getting my current Thinkpad X31, which is a 12" as well. My Thinkpad serves as my primary system and I connect it to a 17" monitor at home for a dual screen setup, which works great in terms of photo editing or even day to day usage. Hopefully, the 12" MBP would become a reality soon so I can ditch my ageing Thinkpad for it. ;)

I miss my 12" PB :( Haiz.

Maybe I'll retire my PeeCee desktop, use my MBP as replacement, then get another 12" MBP (if it comes out) for everyday portable usage ;p.

well... on the contrary, i hope it wouldn't materalise... so i wouldn't have an excuse to dump my mb for the smaller, more powerful mbp :p

Haha, face it, you know you want it. :sticktong

Resistance IS futile here. :bsmilie:

Keep your MB for your wife or kids, then get a 17" MBP ;p

Yeah, at the expense of not having ample USB ports, no DVI output, DVD/CD RW DL drives, FireWire ports, PCI 3/4 card slot, ethernet port, bluetooth and WI-FI. Have to carry a docking station or external DVD rom drives/floppy.

Oh yeah, no backlit keyboard too.

Can the Fujitsu and Sony boot up in HDD mode and use a FireWire cable to connect to another Mac/PC to be used as a portable HDD?

What you see is only one part of being light, being light means to strip off a lot of stuff to maintain the weight, but when you need those additional stuff, add up, you get the same weight.

Think before you feedback.

Oh! But I just want a lightweight notebook that runs OSX to surf ClubSnap mah :embrass:

Can't wait. News tonight. Yay!
