I have been staying here in Jurong area since year 2000.
and Jurong lake Park is always one of my favourite place to go for birding and hunting for insects. To tell you where I found these insects I divide the Jurong lake into 4 areas, before Chinese garden, Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden & old Tang dynasty.
The first half shot #1 - 6 found near Chinese Garden and shot #7 - 14 spotted in Japanese Garden area. Shot # 15 - 16 found in old Tang dynasty.

Another pair of damselflies spotted in Chinese Garden.
I have to admit that many hours spent on these damselflies in order to get one perfect shot

I was lucky that day to meet this pink little drgonfly in the afternoon.
It maintain this upright position for sometime for this shot taken at the old Tang Dynasty

I second that. Never knew that there are still so many nice insects in Sg. Are they difficult to come by? Botanical Gardens hardly any, MacRitchie also hardly any... or is it my eyesight? :think:
