Couple of days diving along the coast of manado with excellent guides and good company.

that is an award winning pic......

Nice ones there Alvin! For a moment I thought you only shoot Dayang and nothing more.

Surprised to see the mimic at Manado, thought it was a "specialty" at Lembeh. What's the next one after the baby Harlequin? Could'nt make out what it is.

Which dive center are you diving with this time?

I'm planning a trip in Jan10. Dived with Santika twice before.

Nice underwater macro.... something different. Thanks for sharing bro

This mimic was actually quite poor thing must have been just attacked, it was missing 4 arms on one side of the body. The one after the baby harlequin is a hairy shrimp, lousy contrast for a pic.

I was diving with la rascasse for the macro part, around their house reef area mostly.

That juvenile harlequin shrimp is awesome! Nice find!!

yaya ... 1st time see juvi harlequin ....

Some great photos, but are some of the links broken?

Tongue parasite inside the mouth?

Yup the infamous tongue biter isopod. It's more uncommon in the false clown compared to the clark's anemonefish. This fish was very unpredictable in it's movement as well. Just tried to focus and track then snap away.

Did you use the 60mm or 100mm macro lens this time?

Most of the macro using the 60mm. the juve harlequin and hairy shrimp using 100mm and double stacked macro wet lens. (1 inon, 1 fun-in-taiwan)
