Hello all. sorry to disturb.
would like to know if anyone here use macro lens for street and macro? like 2 in 1 heh..
I feel like getting the tamron 90mm sp di for macro and street is it alright? hmm
Thanks for the Time =)
Do note that the tamron90 AF is quite slow and noisy so~ =/
hmm noisy as in? even if i used iso 200?
Yes, focusing the limit, especially since you won't be doing macro street (well, I would think not!), would help with the AF.AF in macro lenses tend to be slow. some macro lenses (like Canon's 100mm) have a switch to select the focus range and thereby improve focusing speed.

That said, I personally find 90mm way too tight for a good street photograph, you would probably end up taking a whole load of street portraits, which by the strictest sense of the definition of street photography (if you're thinking HCB, Trent Parke, etc) - is not street photography.
So 100M? or get zoom?

If he says that 90mm is way too tight i'm sure 100mm is worse no?
