hi all, anyone has tips on making sure macbook pro lcd display matches the printout or webproof hard copies.

i am having problems with my images that were shot using macbook pro that was calibrated with monaco optix, on screen it looked fine, but the hard copies looked way too dark.

any help?

just a quick one: is your printer gamma on 2.2 or 1.8 (that is if you can control the gamma from the printer controls)? I assume you profiled your Mac to Mac standard gamma of 1.8... if printer is on gamma 2.2, your image will come out darker... if really a prob, then manually adjust printout brightness by akaration or using a printer profiler...

you need to do a profile for your printer too......
