not really,

I have a close relative who I know REGULARLY wins at the casino playing roullete. At least he wins more than he loses, which is like AMAZING.

dun know what his betting stretegy is BUT he has been going to casino like once a month for the like past 8 years or something...

so it is not a one off LUCK thing
there is like, no betting strategy for roulette

seriously

your relative is lucky that's all

he could just as easily be bankrupt and beyond

besides, when have you heard people announcing when they lose bigtime?
it's always all the win stories

The losing story is very short and uninteresting. Whatever you bet, you lose or the number you always buy comes out when you go to pee.

you only hear the winning stories, rarely the losing ones.

I'd lost everything in Genting except the pants I wore and the belt that held it up.

To prevent missing out my lucky number I always kept an empty bottle underneath the table.

Actually according to the article it's only 1/14th...

Or should I rephrase as Phase 1 of 7 phases of construction. But then again, these are the same guys who owns the Marina IR.

Because that is the easiest game. haha... My trip to Venetian, I won HK$80k+ from roulette but lost all including 90% of the cash I brought in Bacarat in just 1 hr. 'Beo' sides very shiok but also expensive:angry: Lan lan go back hotel to sleep and came back HK the next day. Now dun feel like going back to revenge liao. If last time sure go back to revenge.

Tell you another amazing story when I was a student and lived in KL. When I was 20 years old, I brought RM1k there. My friend brought RM600. We lost all out money in 2 hours except my friend who kept RM10 in his pocket for us to go home. Then we calculated the cost taking bus. RM0.60+RM3= say RM4 each person to go home. RM4x2=RM8. So we still had extra RM2 from the RM10. My friend used it to play blackjack machine. Kept double and within 1 hour, he had RM400+. I borrowed RM200 from him to play roulette. By the time we left, he made ard RM800-900 and I made around RM2.5k+ nett. Means that RM2 became RM5k. After that incident, finishing all my money there was common.

There was a time about 10 years ago while I was walking around the casino to find some of my friends. Then there was this old man approaching me and asking me if I wanted to buy his Rolex (not sure if's fake or not) He was so desparate for money he wanted to get rid of his Rolex for only $1,000. I did not buy his story........hehe.

Gambling is really an addiction by itself. I have seen my friends withdrawing all their lifetime savings to gamble on just one occasion like soccer betting and lose everything. Kinda of scary to see how human mind would lost control over money (Root to all evil).

Previously I had many friends there. Those uncle and aunties tell me their stories. I was advised many times that those places are for retirees and not for young man. Young men should work rather than being there. My longest stay there was 11 days in a row. Booked the hotel for 10 nights. All the 11 days were gambling and that was at the age of 21 or 22 only. Now I feel scary when I think back.

It's all greed. The more you want from the casino, the more you will lose. If just bring an amount of money thinking to gamble for fun, lose or win doesnt matter, there is a higher chance to win than you think to make 10 times of the amount you bring there

The longest I have stayed is 5 days.................it gets pretty boring after that but with the new Venetian, I wouldn't mind staying a fwe more days if I can afford their suite room rates.

When I went, I stayed in another hotel. Hard to get a proper room in Macau during weekends. Why not you come? I pay for your ferry ticket to and fro HK. Then I go to Macau with HK$1k to eat till i shiok while you gamble?

not in casino i hope
they don't allow photography inside

but yar, the streets of macau, i find much more interesting than looking at people throw money away or doing it myself; i walked around for 3 days, was a very refreshing experience. in some ways you feel happy about hdb flats when you see their housing, majority really shitty despite all the glowing casinos

the churches are pretty nice!

Why?

Losing everything you have is such a relief from the worldly possessions.

Walking out of casino with only your pants is such an enriching experience. It makes you work harder for the next meal. :)
