Hey guys..

Received my Snow Leopard DVD this morning.. installed and been running without problems since noon. Installed it over my existing leopard installation and no problems at all. Took approximately 40 minutes to complete. Now the Macbook definitely feels faster.. especially the finder.

The applications that I most commonly use also runs smoothly (CS4, Apple applications, MS Office).. so far so good (touch wood)..;)

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I guess with more of you finding that Snow Leopard quickens everything, it will give all much more confidence in it.
Thanks so much!

One thing of concern is that your printer, scanner or other device may not yet be supported.

I saw an Apple-supplied table of various printers and multifunction devices and my Canon i9900 and MP600 would print, but the MP600 was not shown to scan.

WOW DHL just delivered to my place.. 11:35pm

It could be just me, but the colors appear slightly better in Snow Leopard. My Parallels is fine. Maybe you need to update it.

I'm running the Parallels on a Boot Camp partition.

No for XP. Yes for Vista, but fresh install recommended. Using the RTM now, hehe. Windows 7 is the best Windows ever.

Wonder if there is any SL and Nikon CaptureNX user inside here.

Here's my issue. SL and CaptureNX ver 2.2.0 works fine

But after I update Capture NX to ver2.2.2, I cant load any files altogether, jpeg, tiff and nef.

Anyone has experience it?

My Parallels is 2.0, I think it only works with Parallels 3.x and 4.x?

Anyone with Mac lappy wanna joint purchase the family pack?

I bought the family pack, but I realised the only difference between the family pack and single license, is that family pack got a "Family Pack" sticker on it. If I am not wrong, family pack and single user license shud be the exact same cd.

For those who have install SL, may I ask you something? Can you go to "About this Mac" there and tell me Snow Leopard is 10A432 ? Million thanks.

$48 nia, dun waste time n BW lah:nono:

It's 10b431GM :bsmilie:
