M9 review from canon perspective

that makes me want a M9 even more

Film or digital FF RF or even DSLR it doesn't matter.
What matter is your works, look, style and character you want to achieve. :)

I sold my 5D mark II once I got ahold of the M9 and my back and shoulder don't miss it at all :)

My sister bought a Sony Alpha A55 recently along with a Zeiss 15-35mm lens, total cost is less than one of my lenses. BUT the lens alone is almost 1KG!!! I can't imagine carrying a pro level DSLR that will weigh even more than the A55 and a few lenses everywhere I go.

Having said that, I believe that DSLRs excel at certain things and a rangefinder excels in others.

Unfortunately, there is no one camera to rule them all. It is a matter of understanding one's needs and getting the right tool for the job.

Well said, zixaw...fully agreed...:D

The Canon reviewer is a experience shooter with genuine comments...thanks for sharing, artspraken...

The strange thing is, I don't even think about the sharpness of the m9 as he described it. It's more of an experience for me. Something to be enjoyed. Interesting viewpoints and I'm glad that he did the review
