M8/8.2 firmware 2005

Hi friends,
Just wondering if there any any benefits of updating the firmware from v2.004 to v2.005?

I am stilll contemplating since I understand there is actually disadvantage? since the shutter speed drops to 1/4000

M8.2 and those M8 with upgraded shutter unit have top shutter speed of 1/4000s. Original M8s' 1/8000s shutter speed is not affected by the firmware update, at least not mine.

Same here. Original with the 1/8000s shutter not affect by the new firmware

Then what is the improvement from 2.004 to 2.005? Any major changes?

You have a choice of Discreet or Standard Shutter Release and Auto ISO Setup ( Lens Dependent or Max ISO) in 2.005. The new firmware also resolves an error when firing the shutter in continuous mode.
