M6 leather case

i have always liked the leicatime ones. although they might not fit around the LCD and the dial of the m8 as neatly as some others, the velvet lining and leather finishing is very nice. i like the one without the handgrip, but still provides a little "bump" for the fingers to wrap around for additional grip.

final point is that luigi can custom cut to your liking, for a small price, e.g. thumbs-up, USB port, with or w/o back flip rivets, etc.

so can anyone give me the leica time website? Thanks!

hmmm. so when shall we have a leather case gathering...? japan luigi german korea zhou aa, etc..

luigi or zhou. like the little bump, better grip.
luigi leather is nice.

Zhou recently released some prototypes/display models on rangefinderforums and i grabbed an R2a's fit. Should have bought one more for a "future leica" ;p

$15 USD for the case and about $10 sgd for shipping i think. Totally worth it.

Love the case and the grip is great, but you need your hand to be at least a little bit tacky and not silk smooth like when you wake up in the morning, or else you won't like the way it holds.

I just feel out of place when I go out with some old photographer friends, I will never be able to match the hours they have used on theirs, but will try to hasten the wear :-).

This is one excellent example (junk to most), it surely took a lot of pictures, and still working ... a tribute to Leica engineering.

That looks really good! Love the aged brown colour!

Use your camera everyday... confirm your Leica will age well! :)

The author seems aghast that it is still being used :bsmilie:. But I think Gary would have liked it that way, and not go into a collector's bin, polished shiny, never to be used again the way it should be.

This is what the well-heeled collector should buy ;), Bresson + Vuitton, endorsed by Bresson, with 50mm lens of course, his favorite focal :

Anyway, here is another leather case maker, not very friendly price tag for what it is though:
