May I know how you set the skin tone ? do you follow the guidelines given in sticky thread or you have ur own method ? :)

Usual for mi I will avoid eye contact with the model as the eyes usual will turn out red.. ")

@ campoes: thanks for the compliments! i followed the sticky guidelines stated and modified a little. still now that i look at it, it's overdone i feel.

@ Lx3ChuA: hmmm i didn't get the red-eye like you mentioned. instead, it was kinda bluish or whitish (like catchlights) and i found it kinda attractive. still there's alot more room for improvements. shall keep shootin'~ =]

Haha... red eye girl?
Yah, you've got a good point, Ah Chua.

But in my opinion, m33rkat, even if the eyes turn out to be some funny colours they can always be easily post processed to a lighter shade of grey.
What I have found personally is often times, the eyes just turn out to be a whole oval mass of black (or dark shade) and I prefer to bring some 'white-ness' and 'light-ness' back to the conjunctiva (the white parts) of the eyes for the sake of bearing resemblances to a more natural-looking pair of windows to the soul (so to say).
Good shots, m33rkat. Keep them coming lah!
