Sunset was supposed to be 7.05pm according to their local news, which turns out to be last light at 7.05pm. Remembered that sun was already setting at 6.15pm the previous day, so by the time we hit the place at 6.40, we literally had to run there, coz it gets darker by the minutes.

Left my tripod in the car because of the rush, so had to whack the scene at iso1600, 1/10s at f2.8. Trust me, it's hard to hand hold a shot under that kind of conditions. That's one part of it. Post processing this image was really tedious, but gratifying :P

one word, beautiful:thumbsup: wished I could do more overseas shoot but decided to concentrate on local first. Overseas should is so tiring...;p you did marvelous job with those overseas shoots.

Thanks Max. Overseas shoot is not as tiring because of the weather and the low humidity, plus you can get really creative with the lighting. It's the travelling bit - 2-3 full days just on travelling, so you'll have to charge a premium to make it worthwhile.

Well, if couples are paying like 5-figure sum to do the shoot, die die also must deliver

2 more engagement portrait from Melbourne (and yes, we avoided the city, no Flinders street station, no tram, no town hall, no Federation square, couple and myself find them overly done :p )

Took one at St Kilda since they were on their way to run some errands anyway (and makeup artist lives nearby) had about 3 hours of photoshoot.

A little resonance of Robert Doisneau's L'Enfer
