comments needed?:bsmilie:

ok ok...lynnie, for a MUA, it's a good shot/try.
you just need to sleep earlier or use SKII to lighten your eye rings.
it works for me perfectly.

i like the last pics...well, all of us started out as beginners...i am sure we will learn and be better in future..:) cheers to both mua and pg..

Thanks DinoSg for the kind comment. Heh. :sweatsm:

To Ejun: The last simple shot definitely brought out one of the nicer sides of my old friend here! Was hoping just a little bit more of the face is lighted for the first shot, that's my thoughts though, I have never done potraiture before.

To Lynette: I think you should have more shoots..i mean on top of your Make Up services. ;)

DO YOU NEED TO ADDRESS ME WITH THAT STANDARD USUAL TONE???!! haha..:bsmilie:

I like photography since my secondary school days...only you didn't know then..but I have progressed very little over these years..in fact, only going abit more serious into it lately...

If you know who Richard from 401 is, he is also in this forum. But he is much more skilled and experienced than me...

Sorry Ejun, just realised the previous post is super off topic. Apologies!

Ms Pang, please continue any conversation off this thread ya?

Hey no worries... :) glad it sparked off a conversation! :)

eh i second that. lol

See?! Hahaha. Im not the only one. When I saw his studio pic in his website, I was asking him "Eh your studio so nice meh? Is it a facade?" Then when I saw it myself, I was like "Fwaaah."

Power.

haha... Lynette and Vanessa... I hope you're not giving others a false impression or they'll come and be utterly dissapointed.... still... thank you both for the kind words...

i really like the last pic!!!!! it brings out a different look in her hahaha....

lynette is pretty and has a very proportionate and lovely body so the photog(s) shooting her should try to bring out the best in her.

what's not to love? models and does make up! (cheers for lynn) : p

MUAs can be beautiful too...

lol if the 1st 1 looks constipated then the 2nd 1..........

the reprocessed 1 looks better

Just saw this thread.

I guess I'm not those that will go thumbs-up for low key, buddy, but I think it will make a good photo if you can add more lights to Lynette's eyes. I definitely won't go for anything without catch lights bro.

The softness of the pics is good, but not without 'life' to the eyes. A no-no for portraits IMO.

To me photography is making someone many times more beautiful or bringing out the best looks in someone. I think you managed to do that on the first. Great job. I can only wish someday I can do it. The second one convinced me how much you did in terms of skill capability.

personally like the simple and unassuming looks, it is refreshing and very pleasing for the eyes. pretty girls probably heard too much of the same thing, but the relaxed expression and simple make-up does make it quite different from the rest.

while a lean forward sitting position doesn't look flattering, i'm wondering about a lean backward position with a little slouch at the shoulders. would there be a second chance shooting of her? i'm waiting.

im guessing she's rather nervous but respect for her for the effort. no matter what pose she did, she still looks great...

thanks Ejun for posting this. i learnt something and i hope to see more of it...

Yes MUA are pretty too.. well done on this project...
