Just accessed my lycos mail, which has remained dormant for so long, to discover that now they provide 3GB of free storage; the biggest so far. Still stay with the ever reliable and fast 1GB Yahoo mail despite the 2GB and still increasing Gmail and 3GB lycos mail.:)

attachments can't even exceed 10MB..

File attachment of Lycos Mail requires you to download and install an ActiveX CAB file;( Besides 3 GB mailbox size is only slightly bigger than the 2.7 GB offered by GMail which does not have this ActiveX CAB installation requirement.

when you join groups/forums, and have enabled the 'email notification feature', ...then you will appreciate the increase in size. ;)

it depends on the individual i guess. ... i don't like to memorize too many email addresses so i just keep two. an extra 2 ++ gb's would not do any harm :)

btw, you only receive notifications from CS huh? :o :)

If u send daily website backups to your gmail, yes u'll hit your limit like me. :D

I have my own email
