Lycos Mail - 3GB!!

Just accessed my lycos mail, which has remained dormant for so long, to discover that now they provide 3GB of free storage; the biggest so far. Still stay with the ever reliable and fast 1GB Yahoo mail despite the 2GB and still increasing Gmail and 3GB lycos mail.

Really dun quite understand how will pple ever even hit 1 GB of emails (excluding audio/video files)?

attachments can't even exceed 10MB..

File attachment of Lycos Mail requires you to download and install an ActiveX CAB file;( Besides 3 GB mailbox size is only slightly bigger than the 2.7 GB offered by GMail which does not have this ActiveX CAB installation requirement.

when you join groups/forums, and have enabled the 'email notification feature', ...then you will appreciate the increase in size.

i have joined CS for over 2 years and my email notifications have never exceeded 1GB

it depends on the individual i guess. ... i don't like to memorize too many email addresses so i just keep two. an extra 2 ++ gb's would not do any harm

btw, you only receive notifications from CS huh?

If u send daily website backups to your gmail, yes u'll hit your limit like me.

i have 5Gmail accounts each for different uses...
