Does it works on LX5 with JJC ALC-3 For LX3?![]()
Ricoh LC 1 and LC 2 follow the Mod which they had posted fit onto lx5 nicely
JJC ALC-3 i doubt no one has tried it before? you surely have to mod in order to fit onto lx5 anyway you may want to diy

Hi, please note that the only accessory there for LX5 is the JJC lens cap.Yes.. There are a lot of accs for LX5

JJC arrived today... as my suspicion confirms, the seal isn't very well made...
I guess it'll have to do... it's way more convenient than the original lens cap... sheesh...
does anyone who owns a ricoh know if it seals better?
For the seal issue, i have added a 32mm stick-on multicoat UV filter for extra protection to the lens, so doenst really matter to me![]()
Hi, the Ricoh is about the same, wouldnt be much better seal compared to JJC. Dont really heard of JJC when i started doing this mod, for those who has done this mod instead of buying JJC, I think maybe because of the branding of Ricoh compared to JJC, like myself.

I've noticed that LC-2 seals better than LC-1 and JJC... I'm in the midst of modding (no time, so only doing one edge a night lol) and will post results when done![]()
hey iRolly, did you managed to remove the lens ring? mine is super tight too![]()
Hi, please note that the only accessory there for LX5 is the JJC lens cap.
Everything else wasn't there and I made a wasted trip based on your info.
The lens adapter will only arrive next month.
Shaving the plastic bits off the ricoh lens cap is not easy indeed.
started out with a penknife but ended up making a lot of cuts to the cap on the surrounding edges.
gonna pick up some sandpaper to smooth out the rough bits
just to clarify, after all this is done, the cap isn't screwed on to the lens ring right?
kinda forced on to the lens ring?? thanks
