Unscrew the ring on ur LX3(around the lens) and screw the adapter onto the thread.

That's the risk u've to take when u buy a 3rd party adapter. I'm using the original DMW-LA4 and it fits perfectly.

I don't see how that can void the warranty; it's suppose to be unscrewed for the adapter.

Still the same, have to unscrew the ring. But screwing in the adapter is very smooth and has a firm fit.

i am now haping problem of unscrewing the ring, but not the adapter cannot fit.

my lx3 is still in it's native state...... i have problem unscrew the outer ring, to hook on the adapter. maybe I didnt use enough strength because scared of damaging the body.

my lx3 is still in it's native state...... i have problem unscrew the outer ring, to hook on the adapter. maybe I didnt use enough strength because scared of damaging the body.

Unscrewing the ring on the LX3 for the adapter shouldn't be any problem as when the first time i did it, got loosen after only a little force applied. Don't need to be afraid of it getting scratched or what.
