Haha... It was an antipasto platter we enjoyed at @ one of the vineyards @ Yarra Valley. :)

More like brunch actually. :)
But it's look really nice.. Hahaha..

Hehehhee... yeah.. it tasted as good as it looks. ;)

More shots have been added to that thread... :)
Wow.. more food.. it looks like fish. Was the WB a bit off for that shot or was it deliberate?

I like the corridor! The colour and contrast of the LX2 shows itself very well there against the dark corridor. It simply draws the eye to the lighted area.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I'll put my remarks in that thread. :) Lovely pics!

Hey guys, I'm thinking of buying the LX2 when I visit Singapore in November and was wondering how is the video quality? There a few people on DPreview who have complained about the video quality even saying it isn't usable. What are your experiences? Are they blowing it out of proportion again like the noise problems?

Forget about the video. The camera doesn't focus when it is recording and you cannot zoom also.. so the video function is virtually useless. Actually, this is a little disappointing considering the fact that Panasonic is renowned for its video products.

The video is passable i guess. I used to record a horse race and it came out pretty alright...
It's nothing to shout about and there isn't any zoom function while recording but well, i guess it will suffice in a pinch but it's not the best feature of this camera...

:p

Thanks for the comment. Like most people shopping for compact wide angled cameras it's either the Panasonic or the Canon 850IS. Both obviously have their pros and cons and I'm leaning towards the LX2 at this stage due to the sharper lens and the 16:9 photos look like fun. Hopefully by the time I get to Singapore there will be some promotions going on. Off topic but is the warranty provided Singapore only or an international one?
