The LX1 is still going at $499 at Best Denki at Plaza Sing. One of the last few sets in the chain, think Bishan's Best Denki has ran out of stocks, and Taka's branch is still selling it at $749.

...some dlux3 vs. lx2 comparisons are already coming in from early adopters:

basically: very minimal difference betw the 2, save for WB; inconclusive sharpness advantage; RAW results are same for both; inconclusive similar jpeg NR issue... :dunno:

SCN1 and SCN2 is exactly the same. The reason they are both there is for you to be able to set 2 seperate scene modes. For e.g. SCN1 to SPORT and SCN2 to INDOOR. This means you don't have to toggle within the same SCN for different scene modes if there was only one SCN. Just switch to the other SCN.

i was abt to get the Fuji F30, then i came in & sw the discussions abt the LX1.....now LX2 is also in the market liao.....

can anyone advise me which one i should get?? F30?? LX1 or 2???

& can any of these camera zoom in during filming of video???

I realised that the noise level of the LX1 at ISO 200 is really high... a lot worse than my FZ30. Does everyone experience the same thing??
