This thread has convinced me, I'm a believer. :D Any ideas on current prices at CP, AP, or TCW?

Thanks.

True, but the days when I don't feel like carrying all that gear, the LX1 fits the bill perfectly. ;p

I just couldn't stand it anymore and my impatience got the best of me. I headed down to CP today and picked up a beautiful black LX1.;p

FWIW - I paid $861 with GST

I am a proud new owner of the LX1 as of today too. :)

Bought Photoshop Elements and downloaded Camera Raw so that I can play with LX1's RAW capabilities.

Contemplating Neat Image or Noise Ninja now.

I should show this list to Panasonic and ask them to pay me a commission. ;)

Wow, that is quite inexpensive.

Inexpensive indeed compared to the stupid plastic bag I got for the LX1 which cost nearly 1/3 the price of the camera.

Great to see that you're getting some good use out of it though. :bsmilie:

I want a dedicated underwater housing for the LX1 !!!

The plastic bag sucks big time but I got no better alternative....

Can you post a photo of the bag? I curious to see what it looks like.

Thanks,

Been playing around with my new camera, and I was wondering: Is there any way to import EXIF information into the JPEG created from the RAW files?

Got a shock at first glance... the rain looks as though it was image noise!

Good 'excuse' the next time someone complains about noise from LX1 photos... "But it was raining." ;p

It certainly wasn't raining on my mum's cake.

YA!!! i thought it was noise too. But the "noise" here look good. Old-school-film-new york kind of feel. IF u guys know what i mean. haha.

Hi LX-1 owners,

The photos look great. Nice composition.

I heard that LX-1 got noise issue.

Do we need do post-processing on the photo in RAW format to fix noise problem or to make it look sharp? Are most photos taken with LX-1 have noise?

Thanks

believed some people have recommended taking at low ISO , i.e. 100-200 etc and turn on the OIS...
