Lumix FZ200 - Cheaper alternative to Sony FS700 ?

Erh, i dunno the answer to your question leh. Sorry. Too technical. Need to ask Rodney or other specialists!

Sorry guys, I only know this much from my own experience with the NX30:

1. Each slow mo shot is a fixed 3 seconds of action (real time) . No longer no shorter.
2. Recording starts the moment I hit the record button even though the camera says: Buffering. No need to hit stop.
3. It takes 18 seconds from the time you hit record to the time the camera is ready is to record the next shot.
4. The clip is 12 sec long straight out of the camera.

So by deduction: 12/3 x 25fps = 100fps

The MASTER has replied!

That means the salesman bullshit me about 240fps for Sony camcorder under $2000.00 series.

Wow. 18secs buffer is quite long. And the 3 secs limit is going to be a little problematic if u are not sure how the actors or action will end up behaving.

Looks like the fs700 does command its value in slowmo.

Ya. I think twixtor does a good job than a built in slow mo?

But the PJ660 has an awesome optical stabiliser. Haha
