Hey fibredrive, glenntbk, happyranchu, gglankie

Thank you guys for dropping in. I'm so glad that you guys enjoyed the series uploaded.

My trip lasted a total of 9 days but unfortunately, I didn't have the time to complete processing all pictures. Left with another 4 days to settle. Will upload it soon. Stay tuned in!

And gglankie, yes I really had fun on this trip. Will definitely go back again.

Cheers all!

nice pictures..esp the first pic..how do u do it? what len did u use most of the time?

nice coverage of your trip. keep them coming.

Hi DinoSG,

Thanks for dropping by. Camera was on tripod with multiple (x3) shots on timer. If you're asking if I added the moon in myself, nope I didn't. I was lucky that the moon was there at the time I took this picture. (I had people asking me if I deliberately placed the moon there) :p

The blurring of the moon area was due to the movement of clouds when taking the multiple shots.

As for the lens, my 18-70mm lens was all that I used during this trip.

Hope the info helps.

Cheers!

Hey jenson,

Hope my coverage isn't boring you or anybody. I love sharing pictures of my trip so that people can see these places through my eyes. :)

My work till date is only mediocre and I've still got lots to learn from the more experienced photogs here.

Thanks all for being patient with me.

Will be uploading more soon so stay tuned!

Cheers!

nice coverage of your trip. keep them coming.

How i wish i can take pics like that...

My favourite place is Sorrento Quay. Did you visit that place?

Lovely pics.....

Funny though, having stayed there for over 8 years, I haven't been to those places.. I guess only tourist are interested while the rest of us have to get on with life :bsmilie:

Day 05 continued . . .

44. That's the Peak of Lancelin's Sand Dunes

After Nambung National Park, Lancelin sand dunes was our final destination of the day tour. Upon reaching Lancelin sand dunes, I couldn't help but gawk at the sheer brilliance of white sands and the clear blue skies.

This picture shows the steep gradient of the slope. Any other vehicles besides a 4WD attempting to descend these slopes would be dire.

45. 45 Degrees Descend, Lancelin Sand Dunes

While listening attentively to what the guide has to say, the 4WD gradually made it to the peak of the sand dunes.

The guide then said this, “Dear passengers, remember 007? He had the license to kill. Well, fret not. I’m 009! I Have the license to THRILL” and down went our 4WD vehicle!

Shouts and screams of exhilaration and initial fear filled the entire cabin. Everyone was basically experiencing adrenaline rushing through our bodies. It was absolutely FUN and THRILLING!!

Picture taken with a CP filter attached to my camera.

46. Ready, Steady GO!

Several thrilling and exciting activities awaited us on this trip. One of which is sand boarding. Eager as we were, we quickly alighted from our 4WD to grab hold onto sand board.

As everyone prepared for their sand boarding experience, I was busy climbing up this steep slope that you see in this picture (Damn! It was sure tiring to climb up this steep slope).

47. It's Sand Boarding Time

That’s my brother-in-law on the left accelerating down slope! Damn he was Fast!

48. Weeee.. Down the Slope I Go

Look at all those people in the queue, they were all waiting patiently to have a dose of adrenaline injected into their bloodstream.

yo Pearlang,

Due to time constrain, I wasn't able to drop by Sorrento Quay although I stayed at Scarborough on the last few days of my trip.

Actually the quays and beaches in WA were really beautiful. Cottesloe beach is definitely one of my favourite.

:D

My favourite place is Sorrento Quay. Did you visit that place?

great shots! makes me wanna visit perth! :)

hey kenkht,

Hahaha.. you really should take some time to go sight-see. WA is really a beautiful place.

Anyway, this was my 3rd trip to Perth so I was slightly more familiar with some of the place. :bsmilie:

You mentioned you stayed in Perth, does that mean you're no more staying there?

Lovely pics.....

My bother-in-law having a dose of adrenaline!!

50. Getting Ready to Sand Board

3447720853_0f754e5a27.jpg

My wife, sister-in-law and my brother on the top of the sand dunes getting ready for their turns.

I can't help but admire the blue skies and clear white sand. The surrounding was nothing short of fabulous.

51. Feel the Exhilaration of Sand Boarding

3447718545_b00d54b33c.jpg

When one gets too excited / distracted, he/she may be subject to a meal of sand. Here’s a classic example of how my sister-in-law may have been either distracted or too excited, and was subsequently treated to a feasting of cool white sand. Hmm… Yummy!!

Anyway, multiple pictures taken of my sister-in-law on site were processed in Photoshop to achieve this picture.
