ok.... mine is ML L3 and i paid 16 bucks for it. 1 think for sure is i dunno how to use it in bulb mode. or it cant be used there???? hum...

as said before, it can be used in bulb mode.

Also, your photos camera shake may not only be due to camera shake, but may be due to other factors like aperture you used or focus errors.

PM me if you want to go on a night shoot with me sometime. I'm thinking of going to the esplanade one of these days and shooting the Singapore Flyer at night, but keep postponing it due to work especially photography events that fall in the night.

went to collect back my lens today ... bought sb800 at 625$$ & a wireless remote 16$ at alan photo ITMall
then when to test shots at lower seletar jetty

from ur angle, u probably were standing on the grass patch under the mrt track on the opposite bank? either dat, or u were on the stone jetty just behind the bus stop along lentor ave.

would have been a better pic if u (a) took it ard dusk, rather than nite, (b) zoom in for a tighter crop cos i think there's too much foreground... unless u want the reflections. then again, the waters are not still enuf to render a sharp reflection, and (c) try not to cut ur pic in half. again, this is related to the cropping.

btw, this is part of the singtel sat station. the other is along PIE just b4 eng neo exit.

i was on the jetty itself... i took quite alot of pics but cause of the back camera stand only a few can be used

i went to addias 5 v 5 challenge today .. will post up the pics by tonite at tampanies safra ...

If you want to, can try to walk in a small road so that you are nearer to the disk. This is what I took the last round in the morning.

Well, whatever you do.. Chong Sua or swim in or whatever. Just make sure you go to this "ulu" places with some friends. Never go alone.

Here's an example (cropped from your shot, hope u don't mind ;p ) of what some of them mean by not shooting dead center. It's this thing that some fella came out with called "The Rule of Thirds". Do a search on Google and you'll find out more.
